Whisker Tickled Companion Rats Whisker Tickled Companion Rats is a proud member of AFRMA and a recognized breeder in The Rat Fan Club, as well as many online groups.

We strive on producing healthy well-rounded rat companions. Our stock is carefully selected from fellow & partner breeders to insure healthy bloodlines. We all breed to AFRMA standards. Once our babies are born they are handled and played with daily. When their eyes open they begin socializing with other pets (dogs, cats, birds even other rats). By the time they are ready to be adopted they are completely comfortable with their human companions and make great cage mates for other pet rats.

Matilda was one of the first females we acquired for our breeding program, her personality and temperament were exactly what we were looking for. We were very excited when she had the first litter born since our relaunch, and these babies are something special! They have all been passing our assessments with flying colors which is exactly what we were hoping for. She even produced a perfect little black self baby 🤯. This awesome rat is definitely one we are going to enjoy working with!!

This sweet boy has joined our breeding program from Rins Rattery Relm in Kingman Az. He is a Double Rex Dumbo, and we are very excited to work with his genetics.

Our stock is carefully selected from fellow & partner breeders to insure healthy bloodlines. We all breed to AFRMA standards. By the time they are ready to be adopted they are completely comfortable with their human companions and make great cage mates for other pet rats.

We also offer exotic rescue and adoption services for rats & other rodents, as well as birds and some reptiles & amphibians. We are an official Pet Placement Organization through the Central California SPCA and other local authorities. You can contact us directly for rescue adoption and surrendering information.
