Gone to the Dogs

Introducing, Dusty (shorter-haired/cream) & Rowdy (tan wirey-haired) are about 5 months old & weigh about 10 lbs. These boys are said to be Shihtzu/Pekingese pups but we won’t swear to it! They were surrendered to us when their human realized that puppies were a lot of work…
We were happy to take them in; they have proven to be wonderful house guests!
They can be a little shy and reserved at first meeting (humans and 4-legged) but open up quickly! They are total lap dogs & love to be held and babied. Don't let their little grumpy faces fool you, they are happy, loving boys!!
They are in a foster home with several dogs bigger and smaller than them & do wonderfully with all! They are working on potty training & basic commands. Both are food/treated motivated so with time & attention should be quick learners!
Dusty & Rowdy adore each other! The one consistent in their lives has been each other. They play well independently & with others but can most often be found together— sleeping, rustle-tussling or zip-zooming around the yard. We will prioritize a home that allows them to stay together but consider separate homes with another dog/playmate! Was doing great while in Walmart . Stuck to my list . Didn’t stray 😊 Said to myself “ let’s go to the pet aisle and just look 👀 . I did just that and maybe a wee bit more . The puppies still have some of their room that doesn’t have toys on the floor ! Part of that will be remedied when I get home ! 😊😂🐶🐾🧸

Past puppy Millie making sure her mommy Lauren Barrack is securing their new chicken 🐔 coop properly so their new chicks 🐣🐥💛will be safe and out of harms way! Millie got baby chicks for her 2nd Birthday so everything must be precise . 😂💛🐥🥰

Baby Twig has been chosen and will be living here locally . Love all the families that have gotten a puppy from me but sometimes they have a back story that makes them choosing a baby from me even more special than others . Met this sweet lady on Wednesday who just dropped by and had heard that I raised ShihTzus . We began chatting and the tears just started falling down her face . They had lost a senior ShihTzu about 5 years ago from heart failure and a family friend had given them a little mix breed that they named Patti to mend their broken heart. They had her 4 1/2 years but lost her last November to rat poisoning that someone had placed down and she got into while on a walk thru town as they frequently did . She went on to say that they thought they were ready to open their hearts to another .
This is where Baby Twig enters the conversation.
Her and her husband came this afternoon to meet the puppy and it was love at first sight 🩵 They for now have chosen his name to be Hershey but her husband has some other names they’re entertaining .
This puppy will have the golden life for sure 🩵🩵
To say my heart is full is an understatement!
Blessed doesn’t come close to how I feel .
This makes all the ups and downs of breeding worthwhile.

Baby Twig is interviewing his potential new mommy and daddy tomorrow. Fingers crossed as this sweet lady I met yesterday desperately needs a new baby in her life 🙏

Baby Sprout met his mommy yesterday for a short visit and for the first time . She’s keeping his birth name 🩵🩵 She works part time and he’ll be going to work with her so he’ll always have his mommy 🩵🩵

Baby Hatch🤎 What can I say about this complete doll baby in a tiny package . Charting just under 5 lbs he has it all for a tiny. His little nose, those pouty lips , personality and a total love bug 💙. He’ll be the perfect little pocket pet to an approved home .
