Meet Andy! Andy lives a few blocks away from Quite the Bite headquarters and is one of our Taste Testers. Andy's family was part of the QTB family bubble during COVID and he's family! Andy was one of the first dogs to try out our Quite the Bite treats. In a blind taste test, he chose the cheese and bacon flavor as his favorite which is why that one is named after him!

Meet Sandy! Sandy actually passed away in 2018 but as one of Savanna's first pets (along with Sasha), Sandy will always be part of the Quite the Bite family! Sandy ate just about anything. Trash, dirty laundry, table scraps, tissues, you name it, she ate it! We know that she would have eaten any of the Quite the Bite treats without discriminating but she was a big fan of bacon which is why we named the Sandy (bacon) after her and gave her the title of Honorary Treat Specialist.

Meet Sasha! Sasha is in charge of quality control for QTB. She is Savanna's 15 year old dog. Sasha tests every batch to ensure quality and taste! The original treat (peanut butter & carrot) is named after Sasha because she's the original dog of Savanna's family!

We take the health and safety of our furry friends very seriously here at Quite the Bite, which is why we are working on our food safety training to make sure we are taking responsibility for the safety of our products!

This past weekend, we dropped off our first official donation to Sweet Paws Rescue and got to hang out with some adorable pups! If you’re looking for a new furry friend, definitely check out Sweet Paws!

Meet Savanna!
Savanna is the founder of Quite the Bite. She loves to bake but when she's not in the kitchen, you can find her at dance class, cheer practice, girl scouts, boat club, church, reading Harry Potter, or hanging out with her friends. Savanna is quite the entrepreneur! From website design, packaging, invoicing, flavor combinations, and of course baking, Savanna runs Quite the Bite almost entirely on her own, with just the occasional help from family and friends.

Quite the Bite was started by 11-year-old Savanna in response to overwhelming demand for her delicious dog treats. She first made them when her Junior Girl Scout troop was working on their Bronze Award and chose to support Sweet Paws Rescue. When local dogs loved her first batch of treats, she wanted to keep supporting Sweet Paws and other animal rescues. Since she loves baking and hopes to open her own human bakery one day, she thought a dog treat bakery would be a great start! She started with one original flavor (peanut butter carrot biscuit) but is always trying something new! All proceeds go to animal rescues in our area.
