Dear clients of Putnam Veterinary Clinic, please note that for the rest of the month, our closing time will be adjusted to 5 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will continue to operate until 7 PM on Mondays, while our hours for the rest of the week will remain 8 AM to 5 PM. Additionally, the clinic will be closed on Friday, November 29th. We will provide updates here regarding any further changes to our schedule.

To the valued clients of Putnam Veterinary Clinic:

Our clinic is currently facing a serious staffing challenge, due to the unexpected departure of one of our full-time certified veterinary technicians. As a result of this, we are operating with only one full-time and two part-time technicians. Our veterinary technicians play a vital role in assisting our doctors with the examination, diagnosis and treatment of your pets, and they are also responsible for ensuring the safety of our patients during these procedures. We are actively training a veterinary assistant and urgently seeking to hire one to two experienced full-time technicians. However, until we can fill these positions, we are unable to accept new clients or patients to our practice at this time. Additionally, we may not always have the capacity to accommodate urgent or emergency cases, as our main concern is that every pet receives the quality care they deserve in a timely manner. In these instances, referral to urgent care or emergency facilities may be necessary. Please be courteous and kind to our staff, as they are doing the best they can to provide optimal care to our patients .
Please note that our doctor’s schedules and our available hours may be temporarily adjusted until we can restore adequate support staffing.
We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause you and appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult period.

It's hard to believe Memorial Day weekend is upon us! The office will be closed after 5pm today through Monday. We will re-open on Tuesday at 8am.
