It's hard to believe Memorial Day weekend is upon us! The office will be closed after 5pm today through Monday. We will re-open on Tuesday at 8am. Good morning! Just wanted to let everyone know the clinic computers will be down for about an hour (hopefully not longer) from 1-2 today for some much need equipment upgrades. At that time we will be unable to make appointments, refill prescriptions, make invoices or take any payments. If you need to come see us today, please plan your trip accordingly. The clinic has been without power since a little before 12pm today. We have been doing the best we can but we are running out of daylight. We will be closing at this time. We are unsure when the power will be back on however we are hopeful it will be business as usual tomorrow. If you had/have an appointment and we need to reschedule, we will call you. We will have special hours the week of August 21st. Monday 8/21 the clinic will be closing at 5pm. Tues 8/22 we will NOT be seeing any appointments at all. Our Doctors & Technicians will be attending a conference all day. We will be open for prescription pickup from 8-5 only. Please call in your prescriptions before Tuesday, if they do not have any refills authorized, they will not be filled until Wednesday. We will not have an avian/reptile vet on staff all week. Another reminder this weekend for dog barbecue safety! 🍢 🎆🌽 The 4th of July is the most popular U.S. holiday for grilling – and in our ERs that unfortunately means corn cob obstructions, skewer foreign bodies, and runaway dogs being brought in.

If you’re unable to keep a close eye on your dog or keep them leashed during your cookout, then keep them safely inside! 🐾

Meet Brock 🦔 , a 14-week-old hedgehog who came in for his first wellness exam. He was quite the social guy! Not only did he let us do his full exam, he even posed for a photo 😊📸

15 week old Fig came in yesterday for his first puppy visit 😍 He was such a brave boy for his shots and loved all the attention and treats he got! He has the coolest white markings on his shoulder blades which are very reminiscent of angel wings 🤍🕊️

Update: All prescription requests will take a minimum of 2 hours to be processed and filled for your pet, so please plan accordingly for refills. We will not be making exceptions to this policy.

Now for a few reminders:

-Masks are optional.
-Please call when you arrive to your appointment to check in. When an exam room is ready a Technician or Receptionist will bring you in. We are trying to limit the number of patients in our waiting area to avoid any altercations.
-If you are coming to pick up food or medication, you do not need to call, come on in!
-Technician appointments and surgery drop off/pickup are still curbside. You must park in our back parking lot.
-Please, please, please be on time for your scheduled appointment and if you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us the courtesy of at least 24 hours notice, otherwise we reserve the right to charge a missed appointment fee.
-If you have an urgent matter, please do not e-mail us. You will get a much quicker response if you call the office.
-The clinic does not make appointments through the portal. If you need to schedule an appointment, please call us during our regular business hours.

Ivy is a 3 year old Guinea pig from The Guinea Pig Sanctuary who came in with her foster for a check up after a cyst removal. She looks like a new lady and are so happy she’s doing well 😍🥰
