Good morning!

We still have about a dozen wreaths available at our self stand this morning. We will be open all day or until we are out wreaths!

11/28/2025

We are open for our 3rd annual wreath sale to benefit the Junior Eagles Girls Ice Hockey team!

Come visit our self serve stand and pick out a handcrafted wreath for the holiday season. All proceeds will be going directly to the Junior Eagles Girls Ice Hockey program.

The hockey team is an independent team based out of Mt. Ararat Middle School. However, the team consists of middle school students from Bath, Brunswick, Lisbon, and Topsham. They receive no funding from the district as they are not considered a school sport.

Our stand is located at 2 Wood Avenue in Topsham.

The stand will remain open until all wreaths sold! Come out and support local youth sports, local agriculture, and the holidays! 🎄

We are excited to announce that on Friday, 11/28, (the day after Thanksgiving) we will be having our 3rd annual wreath sale to benefit the Junior Eagles Girls Ice Hockey team!

The hockey team is an independent team based out of Mt. Ararat Middle School. However, the team consists of middle school students from Bath, Brunswick, Lisbon, and Topsham. They receive no funding from the district as they are not considered a school sport.

Wreaths will be $20 each, cash and venmo accepted. Our self serve stand will open at 10am and will remain open until all wreaths are sold. We have a limited supply.

All wreaths are handcrafted from locally foraged greens, cones, and berries. Please keep in mind we are not professional wreath makers, but they are quality wreaths! We will have an assortment of different types (no two the same!).

Come support local agriculture, local youth sports, and holiday festivities!

It's hard to believe we are already thinking about spring just one month into fall; next month will be devoted to getting our garden beds ready for the winter. That means overwintering bulbs for the spring.

We just received our shipment off tulip bulbs from John Scheepers Beauty from Bulbs. They will be making their way into the ground in November, and if all goes as planned, we will have tulip bouquets this coming spring for Mother's Day!

October in the garden:

This time of year, the two cool season crops we keep going are kale and swiss chard. These were planted back in April, and we have been harvesting them all season long. I think their best flavor is in the fall, when the environment shifts to a cooler setting. I also like how curly the kale gets this time of year!

Our cover crops have also developed nicely (peas and oats) and feed our soil nutrients during the non-growing time of year.

Happy fall!

One of our favorite fall crops, butternut squash. Last harvest of the season for these, and we can't wait to enjoy them!
