Check out the great work Nor Cal Pet is doing with the 15 flown to them last weekend! This one in particular is the one that was extremely matted and smelled awful.

Just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to post this sweet gal tonight. At one point I know she had to have lived a good life. What brought her to living in filth and being abandoned in a vacated homeless encampment I’ll never know. She is the sweetest. She allowed me to finish up her shave down today. She stood for me to shave the f***s covered mats between her pads. You couldn’t ask for a sweeter dog. NORCALPETRESCUE ❤️❤️❤️

Yesterday we flew this sweet kitten that was rescued from the marina clinging to the back of a boat. She was not thrilled about sharing the plane with the 15 dogs in the back tho!

These dogs came from a homeless camp in Riverside County and were taken to Nor Cal Pet Rescue in McKinleyville.

Momma and puppies rescued off streets of TJ. Foster got them safe in TJ. Transporter crossed the boarder to get them to Autum in San Diego until flight . Karen Stromfeld has rescued them providing vet care and forever homes. Pound To Pillows is her rescue. Thanks Michelle!

Mabel recently flew from Palmdale to Seal Beach for a short foster while Recyled Love Dog Rescue put together a relay flight to Eugene Oregon. Once the trip was planned we flew the first leg up to Fresno. A few other pilots joined the effort and made stops in Sacramento, Red Bluff and finally Eugene. Everyone loved Mabel!!

Anyone need crates? I’ve had these in the hangar for years and never use them... I have a custom made memory foam mattress in the back for the pups that they seem to like a lot better!

In honor of I flew this old guy “Handsome” from Lancaster to Yuma, AZ. Tomorrow Mark will fly him to Rita at Hank’s Hostel Fur Hounds, an awesome sanctuary in New Mexico. Thanks to Monica for setting this relay up and Darcell for boarding and transporting him to the airport. Glad this sweet guy will get to live out his days in comfort.

Skipper got adopted to a great family!

I’m fostering Skipper for Indilab and he will be available for adoption soon.

Most of you wouldn’t know, but I live on a boat and do boat maintenance for a living. Skipper is the first foster dog I’ve had on my boat. After the first night Skipper was very well adjusted to living on a boat... he goes to work with me and is pretty easy going. After work we cruise my little boat over to the Shade Hotel for dinner and he is so well behaved. He just sits there hanging out waiting for people to come by and pet him. He doesn’t beg for food or bark. He will make an excellent companion for someone!

If you’re interested in Skipper go fill out an application at Indilab... Or at least consider a small donation to them, they do great work rescuing Labs and can always use some help with vet bills for all of the great dogs they save!

Yesterday we flew Gizmo to the Miracle Foundation SD... He's a deaf and blind senior who was found by a good samaritan out in the desert. Thanks to him, Phyllis, Paula, Shari, Stephani and all the other awesome people involved that I didn't get to meet.

** Sad Post **

Last Thursday we got an emergency call from Phyllis that there was one of four puppies needing a ride from Bakersfield to Corona. The three other puppies died so we hoped to at least save this one.

The owners said the puppies weren't eating; well it turns out the idiots had the mom separated from the puppies and her milk dried up.

Despite the best efforts of Phyllis and Trudy, poor little Reagan died Friday morning...

Yesterday we flew 5 border collie puppies from Riverside to San Francisco... Thankfully Phyllis was able to get these pups before the owners took them to the pound and thanks to Rocket Dog Rescue for taking them in...
