I had to share this one again. Tiramisu is such a special girl. Her bond with Anthony is so strong. One day he decided to follow all the kids out the door to play. It only took him 2 minutes to be around the corner, behind the bushes where I couldn’t find him. I start to lose it because I can’t find him. And I see Tiramisu come far enough where I can see her and then run back. She was sitting with him the whole time. We never trained her to do that. She just knew her boy needed her. Well she gots tons of yummies and the kids got the “don’t leave the door open speech.
Basset Hounds are family dogs who will love you like no other dog can!

Tiramisu doing what she does best! Comforting her boy. Anthony has Autism and Tiramisu always knows exactly what he needs. She plays with him, snuggles, follows him around and even lays on the trampoline with him staring at the sky!
Basset love is amazing!!!

Benelli waits all day for his kids to come back home from school. He sits at the door and stares out the window when he knows they will be home. Then he requires all the kisses and snuggles. He is such a dramatic smoosh ball!

Genetics have always interested me. Especially in our dogs. It’s funny how they make little copies of themselves.

Benelli and his son Guinness look so much alike that I get them confused. Our older son owns Guiness so we see him all the time.

Nutella and her son Luigi have the same markings all over. But he has his dad’s sweet eyes.

We are still waiting for Tiramisu to go into heat. Mother Nature is taking her own sweet time this year. I am keeping a list of those who want to reserve a puppy from this litter so make sure you message me that you are interested.
This may be our last litter while we are in CT. We are moving to WV in the summer. We bought a property with over 25 acres of beautiful land. Our dogs will be in heaven!!!! We will still be available for puppies. We will bring them back to New England for delivery but we will just have to do FaceTime visits before delivery. My plan is to eventually start a rescue to rehabilitate and find homes for Bassets who need a home.

UPDATE: He was adopted by the most amazing family. He is now the older brother to one of our puppies from the Peanuts litter!!! Our families are the best!!!!

There is a Basset hound that was just put in a rescue in CT. They said he just turned 1 yrs old but they would not offer me any info if he was one of ours. I didn’t recognize him but still not sure.

Just wanted to remind all our owners that we will always take our dogs back no matter what the reason is. We will find them a great home.

Well….big sigh….someone has reported my pictures to people in charge here. They have flagged and removed pics saying they are inappropriate and tried to have my page removed. So I am not sure if I will be suspended.

I am an ethical breeder who works so hard to provide owners with the best Basset Hounds possible. I take pride in the fact that my owners are a part of my family and they have helped me build a great reputation as a high quality breeder. Our puppies and our dogs are everything to us. I am here to educate and promote Basset Hound ownership. I often refer people to other breeders that I know are reputable, just to help people discover this amazing breed. I am open, honest and completely transparent with my business.

So, I take it very personally when someone is trying to affect my business. If anyone ever has an issue with anything on my page, please message me and I will discuss it with you.
