I just want to extend my upmost gratitude to everyone who has reached out,donated,supported me through this difficult journey! Just to clear the air on one VERY IMPORTANT detail. I WILL absolutely open back up! I am not closing nor plan to close permanently. We are not very active in this social media page. But also know this is a good way to relay information. My salon will be closed until an undetermined date. We have had a devastating loss to our family here at groomingdales. Will, my husband my best friend my partner has been taken from us this past Sunday unexpectedly. Thank you for your kindness and support through this unexpected time.

Good afternoon! Just an update to clear up any confusion we are NOT going out of business! I am booking almost 3 weeks out for appointments. There was a gift certificate being sold on marketplace that is over 2 years old. Im not sure who bought it or who's mentioned we are closing but that is not the case! Ituri snuck out of the house last night on Hogs back road and has not returned home. His owner is very worried. He is a male basenji he is wearing tags but may not come to you. If you see him do not chase him. Please call the shelter at 203-881-3653 or his owner Margaret at 203-233-2244 with any sightings.

Just a friendly reminder that the salon is normally closed Sundays and Tuesdays. Also this Saturday the 18th we will be closing at 1130. Sunday Monday and Tuesday we will be closed back open on Wednesday. As of right now there are no available appointments for the month of July! Thank you!! Have a great weekend!

Good evening everyone. With 2 weeks of missed calls/voicemails I will have alot of phone calls to make for appointments please be patient. I will start making calls tomorrow and figuring out a SAFE way to get some grooming done! I will be working very minimal hours and not taking walk ins to try and make sure I have no more than one person at a time at the door. Thank you!

So...with the updated executive order that was released last night. Grooming now falls under the essential business list which was different from fridays list. I am planning to open in 2 weeks (if things dont change again) I'm sorry for any confusion BUT with things changing on a daily basis I think they will be changing the executive order again soon. It is hard to get pushed and pulled from all directions in these orders! I want to keep all of my clients safe as well as my children. So I will see where things are in a couple weeks and go from there! ❤❤

Good evening everyone! Unfortunately I have been forced to shut down temporarily due to the COVID-19 virus. I am opening up for majority of the weekend to try and accommodate some clients that were booked for monday. As of this time I do not have a reopen date. As soon as I find out I will contact everyone who had appointments booked already and try to continue from where I leave off on Sunday. Thank you for being so understanding and loyal we love all of you and your fur babies!

After discussion we have decided to put in place a "Curbside pickup" effective immediately. Hopefully this reaches out to many of our clients! There will also be a sign on our door with instructions. If you have an appointment or are coming in for any type of walk in service call the salon at 860-482-0132. We will go through our normal check in/check out process over the phone and we will come to the car for pick up/drop off/payments. With proper precautions we can help make you feel comfortable and also help in preventing this to spread further! Thank you! Back in tomorrow at 9am! 🍀❤😁

Good evening! We will be back from vacation as of tomorrow morning at 10am. With all of the precautions set in place with the COVID-19 virus I am asking all of my clients to please refrain from coming into the salon if you are not feeling well. Torrington public schools are officially closed for 2 weeks with that being said I will have 3 children in the salon for the next 2 weeks. We will all do our best to sanitize, disinfect, and if the situation changes with one of us becoming ill we may have to reschedule clients. We will all get through this together! Thank you for your understanding stay safe happy and healthy!

As of right now there are no openings for grooming appointments until after the 13th...Bath Brush and nail appointments are limited..Spots are filling fast for the week following the 13th please call ahead of time if you plan to come in during that week! **Important notice**
Unfortunately with the continuing rise of taxes and fees in the state of Connecticut I am forced to raise my prices starting today February 1st 2020. As most of you know i do have a family of my own with 3 young children and in order to stay afloat with everyone else i cannot eat the taxes in my pricing any longer. There have been prices grandfathered in from many years ago that i can no longer honor. Hopefully we dont lose some of our great long time clients in the process but it is what needs to be done to continue giving your fur babies the spa treatment they deserve. IMPORTANT NOTICE to update there has been a change of plans and the closing of the salon will take place earlier than expected.
