💗 Bourke Parakeets 💗

New babies have flown in! Meet these adorable and stunning Bourke Parakeets! Bourkes are apart of the Parakeet family and can be found in Australia where the actual color of the plumage is black and hints of blue & pink. With years of breeding there are now different types of mutations such as these guys which are called “Rosey Bourkes”

Bourkes are generally a really docile and gentle species of parakeet. Since these guys are really docile they CANNOT be housed with budgies due to how aggressive budgies are with other species. Bourkes also shouldn’t have their wings clipped after their first molt! These guys can get very depressed with clipped wings

💙 Blue and Gold Macaw 💙

Meet Clara! A stunning 4 year old female Blue and Gold Macaw. Clara is an absolutely sweet girl who just adores cuddles and being the center of attention.
Clara who seems to prefer women will gladly step up and accept pets from the ladies. She doesn’t mind men but is much more comfortable around women. Clara doesn’t say much but as with any bird, personality is what should matter over how well they can speak. 😊 Stop in to meet Clara and see if she fits into your household!

🦜 Blue and Gold Macaws are known for being the ‘Golden Retrievers’ of the bird world as they are silly, can be cuddly and love attention.

🦜 Macaws can be very loud and destructive! We always suggest doing research on any species of bird to make sure they fit into your lifestyle.

💚 Canary Winged Parakeet 💚

Meet Josephine a beautiful 5-6 year old Canary Winged Parakeet who has a huge personality! Josephine is not DNA tested but is very friendly! He/she loves to sit on shoulders, play with toys and be loud!

Canary Winged Parakeets are apart of the Parakeet family and known for being very vocal, playful and outgoing. Also known as Bee Bee Parrots, these guys thrive on attention and love to be handled. Since these guys are vocal we don’t recommend having one in an apartment or condo due to their noise level.

💛 Suncheek Green Cheek Conures 💛

Welcome our vibrant, beautiful and adorable Suncheek Conures! These two babies have just flown in to PBS and are already getting so much love and attention. One baby is a High-Red Suncheek as seen with the stunning red plumage on the belly whereas the sibling is a regular Suncheek!

We are accepting deposits on these two babies so stop in to meet them!

❤️ Crimson Bellied Conure ❤️

Look what cutie just flown in! Meet this stunning and playful Crimson Bellied Conure. This baby was hatched on 4/29/2024 and already has a bubbly personality.

Crimson Bellied Conures might look like Green Cheek Conures but are actually a completely different species. Crimson Bellies are slightly larger and heavier as well as having a stunning and gorgeous plumage once they reach 8 months to a year old. The 3rd photo is a mature Crimson Bellied Conure named Mochi who has a beautiful red belly!
These guys are quite rare as Crimson Bellied Conures are harder to breed so having one of these babies is a treat!

💙 Blue Crowned Conures 💙

Highly intelligent and known for being one of the best talking conures, Blue Crowned Conures have flown in! These 2 babies are only a month old and have lots of growing up to do. Hatched only on 5/6 and 5/8 these two have lots of s***k and will definitely be very playful.

🦜 Blue Crowned Conures are definitely a fan favorite bird as one did star in the movie, “Paulie” making these guys very popular in the bird industry.

This adorable budgie was found down the street near our store, found on Minnisink Road. We are currently making sure this baby is being well taken care of at the store and now hoping we can found the owner/s!

💗 Galah Cockatoo 💗

It’s been a while since we have had a baby cockatoo at PBS! Meet this adorable and stunning baby Galah Cockatoo also known as a Rose Breasted Cockatoo!
This sweet baby who we believe is a male (DNA will confirm in a few weeks), is just the sweetest boy ever.

Galah Cockatoos are one of the smaller species of Cockatoos widely known for their playful, s***ky and fun personality. These guys thrive on attention, training and overall interacting with people. Cockatoos are extremely needy, clingy and can resort to plucking if not given the proper care.
We do not recommend Cockatoos or sell them often due to so many being rehomed and in rescues so we want to make sure people do their individual research on these guys before hand. Cockatoos can be very destructive, loud and needy so they are definitely not an easy bird.
With enough research, dedication and patience these cockatoos make incredible companions. Galah Cockatoos are intelligent and can learn a few words or phrases if taught.

Everyone meet Valkyrie! A beautiful 4 year old Citron Cockatoo who has an outgoing and fun personality! Valkyrie who we believe to be a male, is a very sweet boy that loves to be the center of attention. Some of Valkyrie’s favorite things to do is dance, be a messy eater with strawberries and of course scream.

Since being at the store, we have noticed Valkyrie prefers women over men as he tends to get very tense and run off if men are around. But with the ladies, Valkyrie is up for cuddles and just being held.
Valkyrie is also not comfortable around any other birds his size or larger, so a home with smaller birds would be best of course not around them.

Want to meet Valkyrie? Stop in anytime and ask our employees about Valkyrie, he is not in our bird room due to his fear of men and other larger birds so we want to make sure he is comfortable and happy.

The most stunning Fisher Lovebirds have flown in! We currently have 6 sweet handfed babies available. These cuties are only 10 weeks old and are finally ready to find their forever perch where they’ll get lots of attention and love.

Surprise! We just got in 4 adorable Yellow-Sided Green Cheek Conures that are almost ready to go home! These 4 siblings are a little shy at first but once they warm up to you, they love cuddling.

🦜 All of our babies in the nursery also go home with a lovely care package which includes: 3lbs of food, 2 toys, DNA Results, Birth Certificate and Care Sheet!

💖 White Capped Pionus 💖

Meet Kelly! A gorgeous 2 year old White Capped Pionus. Kelly is an extremely intelligent girl who gets whatever she wants. This sweetheart is honestly the smartest bird we at Paterson Bird Store have met. Kelly who MUST go into a special cage, knows how to escape from every single cage without an issue.
Kelly will unscrew screws, remove doors and squeeze herself out of any cage no matter what. Since Kelly is an escape artist, she needs an experienced owner to make sure she stays safe, happy and healthy.

We are requiring anyone that wants to know more about Kelly to meet her in person as she is a little picky about who she likes and get to know her personally.

Meet Mango a beautiful 6 year old Yellow Naped Amazon! Mango is a huge fan of singing opera and loves to cuddle once he/she is comfortable. Even though this baby is so adorable, they still require lots of patience, stimulation and love to keep them happy and healthy.

Yellow Naped Amazons are known for being great talkers but are usually one person birds. These guys usually bond to one person.

This sweetheart was hatched on 1/7/2024 and is slowly learning how to run around and interact with everyone.

Senegal Parrots are a medium sized bird that have a huge personality as they are incredibly loyal to their owners and can be taught how to speak. These guys may not be the flashiest in color but make up for it with their lovable and charming personality.

Lorikeet anyone? Meet this stunning Yellow Streaked Lory! This sweet girl is only 2 years old and is one of the most unique birds that also have such a unique diet of fresh fruits which is mostly apple, mango, watermelon and papaya, species specific pellets and nectar.

This sweet girl says: hi, how are you, step up! hey! pretty bird!

These guys are amazing and silly birds that can learn to talk and have such a cute voice when speaking! This sweet girl is also harness trained and adores people & children.

Meet Yoshi! A stunning 4 year old female Lilac-Crowned Amazon looking for a new home! Yoshi is an absolute sweetheart, willing to step up with everyone and just wanting to sit on someone’s shoulder all day.

💛 Golden Conure 💛

Introducing our first ever Golden Conure! This sweet girl was hatched on 9/26/2023 and is already such a cuddle bug. She is still on handfeeding meaning she isn’t ready to go home just yet but we are accepting a deposit on her. Stop in to meet this stunning little lady and see if she fits into your flock!

💛 Golden Conures are one of the largest conures known along with the Patagonian Conure. They are also very vocal and can have a loud scream so they would not be allowed into an apartment or condo.

💛 Golden Conures must have plenty of mental stimulation to prevent any destruction, plucking and boredom. Providing these guys with a ton of toys and exercise is definitely needed.
