Blows my mind, he reminds me of a little bear 🐻🥺 he’s chocolate based, a dapple, & should carry piebald. Also PRA clear by parentage. & he is so outgoing & playful as well! Pm me if you’re thinking about adding him to your family & or program 😊

Not the best pictures but I wanted to formally welcome Posie’s SIX beautiful babies into the world 🥹 four males & two females, ALL DAPPLES 🤯 and she did so good! Had them all out within a matter of a couple hours, she opened the sacks, chewed cords, and cleaned them up so good! Such a good mama, I’m SO proud of her 🙌🏼 especially since she’s a first timer. This same room is where I watched her come into this world and now watching her become a mama herself, my heart can’t take it 🥹

Hey y’all! So I wanted to post here & introduce myself for the people who don’t already know so y’all can see the face behind Dirt Road Dachshunds 🤍 I feel like it’s so hard to keep up with who’s page is who’s these days 😬

My name is Brittany, but you can call me Brit 😊 most of my family/friends do! I’m a SAHM, married to my high school sweetheart of fourteen years 🫶🏼 we have two kids together & live on about a two acre homestead/hobby farm with chickens, cats & of course dogs (we’ve had a little of everything over the years though 🤣) I’ve been raising Dachshunds for about eight/nine years now but I’ve owned & loved the breed for a little over twelve 🥺 my family & animals mean the absolute world to me! Feel free to comment and introduce yourself I always love meeting fellow dachshund lovers 🫶🏼🐶

Sweet Aubie (Birdie’s son & twin) crossed the rainbow bridge today 🌈💔

As breeders we watch them come into the world & raise them up until they go to their furever homes but they always feel like they’re partially yours 🥺
I’m making this post to ask for prayers for Faith & her family they loved Aubie so much and I hate so badly they’re going through this 🙏🏼

Our home grown girl Posie off of our Birdie is finally of age & has been bred to our boy Suede 🥺❤️ If all goes well we’ll be expecting puppies around June/July 🙏🏼 we’ve took a much needed break but so excited to have puppies in the house again 🙌🏼
