BREAKING NEWS: The FY23 House Interior Appropriations bill was just released. The bill maintains a ban that prevents the Bureau of Land Management or Forest Service from selling wild horses and burros for slaughter or destroying healthy, unadopted wild horses and burros. We thank the House Appropriations Committee for including this language. There will be more on this issue over the next week as the bill moves to the full committee so be sure to stay tuned!

We will never turn a horse away regardless of its health, behavior, or medical problems. If a horse needs the Last Act of Kindness, we also take care of everything involved with end-of-life services, as we are a full circle of life horse welfare organization.
We do not charge a surrender fee for horses surrendered, although donations are always greatly appreciated.❤

There's a story behind this photo. The mare lost her foal and two days later was introduced to an orphaned foal. They obviously bonded quickly. I love the contentment so apparent on the mare's face.
