I sometimes have students ask why do you use a pedestal? Is it some kind of trick training?? The pedestal is just another question for me to ask my horses . Will you please go there ? Can you go there? It is no different then can you trailer load? Walk across a large rock or obstacle. We are always wanting our horses to be willing , confident partners.
