Hours can vary from 8a-5p to 7a-7p
Essential job Duties will include:
The ability to manage emotions under stressful conditions with compassion and professionalism. Answer a multi-line phone system and texting. The ability to communicate with Doctors and other team members effectively both verbally and in writing. Multifaceted Scheduling. The ability to multitask. Computer skills such as data entry, word processing, Software specific to the medical profession are necessary. Spelling and grammar are essential. Veterinary Terminology is beneficial but can be taught. Knowledge of animal care, large and small. The ability to interact with and handle Animals both large and small for intake and discharge. Consistency and dependability. Ability to work as a team member.
Other Job duties:
Laundry, sweeping, Mopping, dusting. Manage the cleanliness of the clinic, including blood and other bodily fluids secreted from sick animals
Ability to perform cremation duties when other staff are not available
Starting pay minimum: $17.00/hr

Hi, my name is Jase.. I have had a little bit of a rough go. I was brought to the Elkhorn Vet crew a week ago after my housemates turned on me and gave my a few cuts and gashes. The crew at Elkhorn stitched me up and got me on some antibiotics. When my owners were called to report I was ready to go home, sadly my owners no longer wanted me. Long story short I am an abandoned, neutered 8 year old good boy looking for my new family to love me and let me love them.
I really love attention and snuggles! Sit down on the floor with me and I’ll sit in your lap to get all the loves.
I am blind in my left eye and I’m working on gaining more weight, I’ve already gained a pound since being with my Elkhorn crew!

Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic
