Bonny,Patty,Bakana, & Ushi want to wish all of their pet buddies, a merry Christmas, and remind their owners that the Vet Clinic carries Hill science diet treats that go perfectly into their stockings.

And a reminder that we will be closing December 24 at 1 PM we will be closed all day December 25 🧑‍🎄in observance of the Christmas holiday. Emergency services will be available

Essential job Duties will include:
The ability to manage emotions under stressful conditions with compassion and professionalism. Answer a multi-line phone system and texting. The ability to communicate with Doctors and other team members effectively both verbally and in writing. Multifaceted Scheduling. The ability to multitask. Computer skills such as data entry, word processing, Software specific to the medical profession are necessary. Spelling and grammar are essential. Veterinary Terminology is beneficial but can be taught. Knowledge of animal care, large and small. The ability to interact with and handle Animals both large and small for intake and discharge. Consistency and dependability. Ability to work as a team member.
Other Job duties:
Laundry, sweeping, Mopping, dusting. Manage the cleanliness of the clinic, including blood and other bodily fluids secreted from sick animals
Ability to perform cremation duties when other staff are not available
Starting pay minimum: $17.00/hr

Our Story

Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic has been in Townsend for 45 years and we opened a satellite clinic in White Sulphur Springs in 1998. The Townsend clinic is located on Highway 287 just south of the Ford dealership. The White Sulphur clinic is open on Tuesday mornings and is located at 502 S. Main Street.

We are a full service veterinary practice with ambulatory services that provides care to both large and small animals throughout Broadwater County, White Sulphur Springs, and Helena, Montana.

At Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic our doctors and staff work as a team for the benefit of your animals. We will do our very best to ensure that you will be thoroughly satisfied with the care your animals receive and the service you experience with us. We understand that your pets are part of your family, and we do our best to offer total care with a gentle, caring, and professional environment.
