🌞 Heat Wave Alert! Keep Your Pets Cool & Safe! 🐾

We’re expecting scorching temperatures this week, and it’s important to remember: if it’s too hot for you, it’s definitely too hot for your pets! 🔥

Here are a few hot weather tips to help your pets beat the heat:
🐶 Walk early or late to avoid peak temps
🐾 Keep paws off hot pavement
💧 Provide fresh, cool water at all times
🚗 Never leave pets in a parked car — even for a minute!
🌳 Make sure they have access to shade or cool indoor spaces

Signs of heatstroke in pets include excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, and collapse. If you suspect heatstroke, call us immediately!

🐾 June is National Pet Preparedness Month! 🐾
Emergencies can happen when we least expect them make sure your pets are ready, too!

Here are a few simple steps to keep your furry family members safe:
✔️ Prepare a pet emergency kit (food, water, meds, leash, ID)
✔️ Have a plan for where your pets will go if you need to evacuate
✔️ Keep microchip info and ID tags up to date
✔️ Know your pet-friendly shelters and emergency vet contacts

Because pets are family and they deserve to be protected. 🐶🐱💙

The votes are in, and our newest clinic cat officially has a name… everyone say hello to Junebug! 💛

She’s already making herself right at home napping in sunbeams, supervising the front desk, and charming every patient (and person!) who walks through the door. 😻
