As the farm bill extension deadline approaches at the end of this month, it is of utmost importance for Congress to work together and get a new 5-year farm bill reauthorized, not just pass another extension of the current farm bill. 140 members of the U.S. House of Representatives sent a letter to House leadership highlighting how important reauthorizing a new farm bill this year is for the nation’s farmers. Major thanks to Congressman Scott DesJarlais , Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, Congressman David Kustoff, and Congressman John Rose for signing the letter and supporting Tennessee farmers by asking Congress to reauthorize a new 5-year Farm Bill!
