Napa is a 7 month old kitty looking for his forever home right in time for Christmas.

Napa is a sweet and fun-loving cat. He loves flopping around the floor and playing with his family or siblings. Usually you can find him napping on his back where you can sneak in a belly scratch.

Napa loves being help and petted. He currently lives with dogs, cats, and children and does well with all of them. Napa does tend to get watery eyes, which just needs to be cleaned when he gets teary eyes. He also takes daily l-lysine which is inexpensive and great for cat health.

Here's a little more about this handsome, good boy:
Crush is a precious and adorable couch potato. He loves to lay outside on the patio in the sun as much as he loves to lay on the couch in front of the fan. Crush is a great boy with a gentle soul. He is easily occupied with things like doggy puzzles and yummy bones.

Crush loves his crinkle fox and duck toys and will sometimes carry around his prized toys in the most adorable manner.

Crush prefers to be with his humans as much as possible and is still working on crate training while his foster is at work. As he settles in to foster care, he is becoming more comfortable with separation and is choosing now to wander out more independently to explore. Crush is a big lover who thinks that he is a lap dog despite his size.

Crush greets other dogs well on leash and tested well with other dogs when at the shelter. Bring your own dog(s) to meet this boy to see if they might be a fit together. Crush has also done fine meeting children, though he does not currently live with any. Crush does not currently live with cats, so we are not sure how he feels about them.

Crush is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. 🤵 Ladies, it's cuffing season, and here is the man of your dreams! 🤵

Roman is a big old baby who needs all the love, scratches and play time that you can give him! Roman loves to run and do zoomies all over the yard. His favorite games are fetch, tug of war and keep away. Once he has burned off his high puppy energy, Roman is happy to lay down on the couch for a nice nap.

Roman knows to sit and wait for permission before eating out of his food bowl. Roman knows his basic commands such as sit and stay, but due to his large size additional obedience training is recommended to help Roman to not knock over his loved ones. He does nicely in his kennel and is eager to please.

Roman currently lives with other dogs but is currently kept separate as he is healing from an injury given to him by another not-so-nice dog. Roman was initially in doggy playgroups at the shelter, but given the traumatic experience will need slow introductions to new dogs to be successful.

Roman is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. Better World Rescue is hosting a cookie-gram fundraiser. For $30 you can get 6 mouth watering cookies from Primrose Bakery, Milk & Cookie, and Kuya’s Cookies.

The cookie-grams will be delivered straight to the door of the recipient with options to add fun holiday cheer. Don’t forget to add a treat for your furry pal as well! A doggie donut option will also be available to add to your delivery. 🍩

Cookies will be delivered the week of December 13th and there are limited quantities available so make sure to snag one fast!

Cookie-grams are $30 each with 100% of the proceeds going to Better World Rescue!

🌼Meet the lovely and beautiful Marigold!
🪻This little wallflower is having a hard time in the shelter environment, she is a gentle soft soul that is overwhelmed with the noise and the chaos of shelter living.🕊Her soft, sweet personality and her gentle ways suggest she was once someone's beloved dog at one time.

💓She constantly looks to her handler for guidance, she comes when called, sits, lays down and stays right on que!☝️ When she starts to feel comfortable, she will give you a little kiss, sits close, will show interest in her toys and she'll start to play.🥎 In doggie playgroup is where this girl begins to shine! She loves to be out with her doggie friends, she will greet each one with a happy little wiggle to say hello. We believe back in a loving home where she belongs, she will show her true playful, affectionate loving nature with all the silly and goofy antics a dog gets into when they are happy!🎁🎁🎁

❤️‍🩹Marigold has a sweet gentle soul with a very soft heart and is now showing the signs of kennel stress. Medications can help only so much; the best cure is with a loving family. Please let’s make her Christmas wish come true and her a “furever” home!

🐶Marigold really starts loosening up in doggie playgroups AND STARTS TO SHINE! She will look to her handler for guidance, shows more bounce in her step and can get wiggly with other dogs. She really enjoys playing with her doggie friends. We believe in a home when she feels comfortable, she'll show a lot more of her playful side. For now, she is in doggie playgroups with gentle, playful male and female dogs.🐶

Shilo is a handsome young man who loves life and everything it has to offer. He wants nothing more than to be your best friend. Sadly, he did not have the best start in life as he spent most of his puppyhood in the shelter, was in foster care, where he received lots of love and training, then adopted, now back in foster care. 💔

After over a year in rescue, Shilo was adopted, but unfortunately his family moved out of state and could not take him with them. We are all heartbroken for Shilo, but we’re hopeful he will find a family that will keep him forever!

Shilo has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. Bring this sweetheart home today. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for continued private and group training to help ensure a successful adoption.

Our hospice boy Otis is here with a little update. My foster mom has been amazing to me and giving me so much love. She let's me be king of the couch. Even though I have cancer, she and BWR have been making me as comfortable as possible. My antibiotics aren't working anymore, so we are going to try something new. Just wanted to let you all know that I am happy and getting all the loves!

You know what is great about raindrops? They hold so much promise. They help bring life, help clean away what has been stained, and allow a fresh start. And our precious girl Raindrop reflects this as well.

Raindrop is very affectionate and sweet. She is ready to match your energy and is happy to be both a couch potato as well as full of energy. Raindrop loves walks, playing with other dogs, couch time, and fetch. Her favorite toys are any rubber toys, including kong toys, and any kind of ball.

Raindrop can be a little unsettled when first meeting a new dog or person, but settles in beautifully with some patience. She is mostly cautious when meeting new strangers. Raindrop does not currently live with cats but we suspect she might do fine with them.

Raindrop is a loyal, smart, face-licker ready to help your life start fresh with her joining your family. She would love to meet you and change your life for good.

Raindrop is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations.

❤CINDY AND BOBBY NEED FOSTERS ❤

Cindy and Bobby are both 7 month old kittens that are looking for a new foster or forever home.

Cindy (tabby short hair) is shy at first with people but once you bring a toy out she will fall in love. She is very social with other cats and loves friendly dogs. Cindy is litter box trained, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines.

Bobby is an adventurous orange man that is full of orange cat energy. He loves chasing toys and pouncing on them. Exploring his surroundings is one of his favorite past times and he does well with other cats and friendly dogs. He is a little shy at first with people but warms up. Bobby is litter box trained, neutered, and fully vaccinated.

🚨‼️ CORALINE NEEDS A PLAN TO EXIT THE SHELTER BY THURSDAY 12/5 AT 5PM!!🚨‼️

Good goly miss moly, I am head over heels for this little lady 😍🤩🥰 Just take a peak at her videos and you will be too!!! Tipping the scales at a whopping 37 pounds, Miss Coraline has the perma-puppy look DOWN PAT! Add to that her insatiable appetite for cuddles and kisses and treats and you've got yourself one hell of a dog! She is not into toys. She is not into balls. She could care less about playing. This girl is too sophisticated for all that stuff!! Altho Coraline may be young and active, much like our senior girl Bonnie, she is not into all that chaos and craziness. This fancy girl would appreciate a nice, quiet home where she can relax and be pampered like the little princess she is 👑 She can get overwhelmed when things get crazy and as you can imagine, she is having a VERY hard time here at our loud, scary shelter. When she is on meet n greets she will actually walk all the way to the end of her slip lead and stand facing the opposite direction of the people trying to meet her. But guys, she is just overwhelmed. Give her a chance, take her home and discover what a *GEM* is hiding underneath 💎

**Coraline would thrive in a nice, calm, quiet, patient household** This means:
🐱 No cats for Coraline 🐱
🐶 No female dogs for Coraline 🐶
AND
👶 No young kids for Coraline 👶

**We want to set this little lady up for success! Please spread the word far and wide...it's going to take quite a bit of networking to find the PURR-fect home for Coraline but it is possible

Bonnie is a lovely lady; thru and thru. She is a sophisticated gal who likes to enjoy the finer things in life. Unfortunately a loud, chaotic shelter kennel is not one of those things!! Bonnie is super duper stressed out here, you can see it in her big beautiful ember colored eyes that have the most worried look to them it is absolutely heartbreaking. They soften when she sees someone she knows and then you see the b***y start a wigglin

❄️FOSTER NEEDED❄

We are still urgently looking for a new foster home for Ronda.

Ronda needs a patient, calm, and nurturing foster that can help work with her through her fear of new people and places. When Ronda feels unsafe, she will cower in a corner for protection. With time Ronda opens up and feels secure in her new home, where she loves nothing more then lounging on the couch and playing with her toys.

Ronda is a low energy dog that gets along with other dogs and cats. She is a gentle pup that needs a loving home that can show her the world isn't a scary place.
