Saturday gave me two very different journeys:

Nola: “I might trust you today… but let’s stay where the sidewalks feel safe.”
Makana: “UNCLE NOBU!! Watch this — I can not bark now. Skills upgraded.”

Two dogs, two speeds —
and me, doing my usual mix of walking, teaching, and cheering them on. 🐾💛

Firstly, I wanted to thank my wonderful wife Jonie Endo who ALWAYS goes out of her way to ensure my birthday is memorable. I also want to thank my son Brandon Summers, Stephanie Wiggins, and Ashlyn for coming by with birthday love.

Secondly, to say I was overwhelmed by all the FB posts, DMs, texts, and calls would be an understatement. 😀 The positive vibes and energy from everyone was incredible! Thank you for taking the time to wish me a happy birthday.
