Brynn is two weeks into a fourbweek stay with us at refined k9. This young lady needs to understand rules, boundaries, and expectations.

Some leadership, structure, rules, and clear consistent communication.

This is what fearful dogs are asking from their owner.

Not hugs, kisses, or cool outfits.

Dogs need to know their owner has got their back and will keep them safe. This is what gives the dog confidence to interqct freely with other dogs.

Its the dogs that feel they dont belong or feel too entitled that have problems socializing and communicating.

Rethink and retool your relationship with your dog if you want harmony.

Babs had a great day checming out the memorial day sales! But she was bummed when she found out this was home depot and not the pet store.

Thats ok! The home depot workers showed her some love!

Beast is Nanos brother. Though hes half the size of the Nano, yet his name is beast?

Yes. Because his personality can be beastly at times! This guy has a lot of confidence in a little package. Sometimes hes a little too forward and needs to learn to use his inner voice.

Were on our way to home depot and ace hardware to learn how to be around ppl without being a bully.

This is Babs and her silky hair mixes with the wind to make her look glamorous.

But, being a herding breed means tbat good looks means high maintenance! Frustration, impulsivity, and desire to chase EVERYTHING is why shes in school with us.

Nano is working hard in early mornings and late afternoons. Getting those lessons in before the daytime heat sets in is important.

This little guy is smart as a whip but as insecure as they come. Confidence building and clewr communication is in the future for this einstein.
