Our very own Peggy was the star of the show at the Vinton-Shellsburg Career Fair last month!

Dr. Paula & Katie attended and shared a few show & tells with the students. They were able to show how the ultrasound works, bladder stones from a dog, otoscope, dental poster and a tapeworm. They enjoyed all the chatting with students and answering any questions they may have had for ones interested in a vet field career. And of course, Peggy enjoyed all the loves she received from students & staff.

Katie’s favorite part of the career fair was being able interact with students and answering any questions they have about what we do in our day to day. She also loved having them guess what was in the jars they brought and what some of equipment they brought was used for.

We had someone bring in an Australian Cattle Dog this morning that was hit by a car. Was by Dysart and has a black collar. Please call the office at 319-478-8411 if this is your dog or know whose it is. Thank you!
