This is just a PSA. Spring is coming up faster than I’d like. With spring comes baby animals… like skunks. If your dog gets sprayed by a skunk DO NOT USE TOMATO JUICE. It literally does nothing except make your dog smell like a skunk got confused and sprayed a ketchup bottle. If they get sprayed absolutely DO NOT get them wet. It makes the oils in the spray pe*****te down in their coat and it’s just about impossible to get the smell out. Instead mix equal parts dawn, baking soda and peroxide into a paste and scrub it into your dogs coat. Again do this BEFORE you get them wet. Let it sit about 10 mins before rinsing it off and then continue on with the bath as usual. It also works if your dog is a dingus like mine and rolls in something dead. It works for collars too. Stick it in a cup overnight with the baking soda, peroxide and Dawn covering it and then wash it in your washer like normal 🙂

I am so grateful for all the clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I did two of the sweetest doodles today Sam and Cooper. Their mom was just as sweet. I love owning my own salon so much more than I ever could have imagined. It’s so much less stress for me which makes it less stressful for the fur babies I groom. So far every human client and dog I’ve had has been an absolute dream to work with. I’m feeling so grateful that i got the opportunity to do this. Not many people can say that they genuinely enjoy their job. I LOVE MY JOB. Previous places I’ve worked at if somebody asked me to come in on a scheduled day off I would never say yes. Some days people call me and ask if I’m able to do their dogs the next day and I’m like pshhhh I can do them today in about 20 mins 🤣 thank you God for my amazing clients and for all of the things that had to fall into place in order for me to open Doggy Stylin 🥹

Sweet little Peaches was so good for her first puppy groom. Little wiggle bug was finicky with her feet but after lots of love and breaks she did amazing. She is so stinkin cuteeeee

Please let me take a moment to introduce myself and share some information about my passion! I'm Jaley Grant, an entrepreneur, wife, proud mother of two beautiful, wonderful kids (I might be a tad biased), and have several animals. As a work-from-home mom, I am thrilled to operate my own dog grooming business, which is attached to my home!

My profound love for animals made me dream of becoming a veterinarian when I was younger, but life took me on a different journey after the arrival of my daughter, who faced several medical challenges as a baby. Once I had my son, it became clear to me that I wanted a career that allowed me to be around my kids.

Throughout my career, I've gained invaluable experience working in various salons and decided to pursue a path centered around fear-free grooming. In creating my salon, "Doggy Stylin," I envisioned providing a haven of relaxation and comfort for the dogs that I groom. Each furry client is treated with care, showered with affection, and pampered every minute they spend with me. I believe in fostering a personal connection with your beloved pets, ensuring a delightful grooming experience for them. To achieve this, I work one on one and accept only one dog at a time, except when they are from the same household.

You can find Doggy Stylin conveniently located just off of old Highway 25. As you consider a new groomer for your furry companions, I invite you to entrust their care to me. I assure you that they will be treated like my very own, receiving the tender loving care they deserve.
