The office is starting to get back to normal! Not fully but its almost looking normal again 🫣! I will need a few more days to polish it up! Please excuse the mess until then! Thank you again to now 98% of ya 🙃 on understanding and allow me to do one small outside activity outside of camp! If you still do not understand what “the mess” is please ask (listen 🫣😉)…stop making assumptions and or being judgemental. I will make no apologies anymore for hosting one of my annual events (that I’ve done for over a decade) that means more to me than many of you will know!
I will start meet & greets back up after next week so stay tuned on that if you’ve been on the list your time is coming! I promise! If you don’t hear from me by March 8th send me a reminder. However there will be no meet & greets during Spring Break week!
Established camp crews - all your booking requests should have been replied to and I am all caught up! I’ve been trying my hardest to stay ahead of them esp with my retired military dog event - some of ya may not know but February is actually always my busiest camp month of the year but all the dogs & I made it thru 😆! Please let me know if any of ya are not confirmed yet on any requests!

I treasure all the time I spent with each of you. I’ve known most of you for a decade or more and we spent countless days, weeks, and months together! Thank you to your humans for letting you be a part of my life and all your time at SunDog. SunDog is not just a “kennel” its so much more than that! ChuckIt Ball toy drive In Memory of Zuri:
Zuri Kuzza, top dog of @sundogkennel, TC, MI flew to the big sky last Friday at 13 years old! She lived life to the fullest - always with her Chuckit Fetch Games ball! She is now reunited with her soulmate Andre (her human dad) who passed away in 2021 and her multiple siblings we fostered & rescued over the years as well as so many SunDogs! If it was not for Zuri I would not be SunDog and SunDog would not be me!
MoonDog: Dre’s Legacy & SunDog Kennel would like to send her favorite #chuckitball Petmate Pet Products to dogs across the nation while they wait to find their forever home!
I’m thinking a few GSD rescues, some that are part of the Miracle GSD Network such as Saving Paws Rescue (a rescue Andre & I visited on one of the very few vacays we ever actually took together bc camp always came first) and Miracle German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Maine! Three of Zuri’s siblings of @thesheppypack sheps came from their network!
☀️🐾 We will also donate some locally of course to Cherryland Humane Society! Her little bro @therastafox will deliver them! And hopefully some to @mwdtsa for all the volunteer work Zuri helped me complete and do as we sent thousands of care packs to active duty deployed MWDs and our fav retired MWDs for K9 Veterans Day!
Zuri’s full tribute can be found on my personal pages! These are just a few photos with her fav ball! Which is also a camp staple 😉! Zuri always had it with her - bed, my bed, couch, boat, car, lake, backyard, bonfires! You name it! Where Zuri was so was a ChuckIt! ball! Let’s send some to shelter & rescue dogs! Hopefully it will bring them as much fun & joy as it did Zuri all 13 years of her life! She had her fav ball right up to the end of her physical life and I imagine she has it up in the big sky!

2022 SunDog in the Sky:
I wanted to post this yesterday but did not get a chance to and want to take a moment to remember each pup we lost in 2022.
While this year we didn’t lose as many as in years past we still had to say goodbye and as we all know those are never easy! This year at least most of these dogs were well into their senior years! Long lifes full of dog joy!
I think whats hard about this year is most of these pups are some of my longest campers and many have spent so much time here! Not all but most! And whether they came here 100s of times or once or twice they are still part of the SunDog Fam!
I cherish my memories with each dog below and think of them all from time to time. I thank all of you for trusting me with your pup! I thank all of you for letting me be a part of your dogs life and sharing them with me. I thank you for these camp memories.
I miss all of you so much pups. I can only imagine the SunDog party in the sky you all are having up there! Come play at camp from time to time. I feel you and so do your buddies! If only I could have you over one more time to care for you and watch you enjoy camp life and see all your camp smiles. Keep Andre in line up there and make sure he gets all his camp chores done 😅🥲!

Happy New Year! Some time this week I will be posting big camp updates for 2023!
Don’t quite have the words yet for this one and have been trying to put them together since his passing the end of February. Pepper! Pepper has left us.
We knew his time was coming as his age was catching up with him. So many of you fell in love with Dr. Pepper! He enjoyed camp time with his friends and especially loved your little dogs, we did a lot of camp swims, hikes, camp outings, sunset walks, and more!
You deserve a big tribute Pepper but part of me feels you are still here with us and I’m not ready to let you go. I know your dad misses you tremendously and we are helping your sister Akeria get through life without you - her best bud!
Fly High Pepper!!! I and SunDog will miss you so much!
