Trio of cuties!
Day 1 of transport is complete! They are safe with our volunteer overnight and tomorrow they will have their last leg all the way into Rescue! I cannot thank our first day of rescue volunteers for all of their dedicated efforts, time, love and affection towards these three, as they make their way from California to Oregon & Washington!

Skipper Pupdate!!
Skipper has been in training for over a month now and she’s getting down all the basics like a pro! She’s trained her foster humans well too!! Portuguese, water dogs are wickedly smart and thrive on learning new things!! What would you teach your dog if you could teach them anything??
It's safe to say Benny is dog friendly! HAHA Look at his hilarious personality emerging! I love sideways play pounce poof poofs!

The three amigos are doing well and on the homestretch of their transport journey! Our incredible volunteer transporters are being serenaded by their nonstop purring & sweetness!!
I will soon announce Panda Paws Rescue's newest rescues, Benny & Joon, with full bio/medical & surgery needs/etc. But to get a jump on everything we are going to do things backwards when it comes to fundraising so we can head straight to surgery and get the healing process started ASAP! This little guy is Benny and he will likely need both of his eyes removed. We will share more soon. Surgery is crazy expensive of course, but this is the only way to save his life, rid him of discomfort and once he is healed, although he will be blind, he will happily "see" with his heart and be just fine - uniquely him! Our little biscuit making maniac with Ehlers Danlos is in need of more shirts! She wears clothing and nail caps to protect her very thin, delicate skin. Little miss Royal is soaking up the sunshine and patiently waiting for applications! She is a very happy girl, loves everyone and everything, happy-go-lucky! Royal is a 3 month old Rat Terrier with partial blindness due to trauma at just a few days old. She’s healed nicely and has made a complete recovery. Now all she needs is an amazing home to love to pieces!

Please continue to send positivity and good thoughts to our little lady, Spritz. She has been starved her entire life from nutrition that her body and brain needs. This is neurological, but it is an indication that her brain is shutting down because she’s lacking the proper nutrients. She’s in the best hands and we are not giving up on her. Today is especially difficult because I will soon share that we lost one of these kiddos this afternoon, but we’re hoping on saving this girl, and all of them.

Yes, we know that we have medical issues onboard and they are all being seen immediately. They also are all going to be soon accepting applications but for now, I just want to give praise to our transporters and everybody involved in their forever home mission. Rainbow Heart Rescue I love partnering with you, and for those of you that now, we have decades of experience so each and everyone of them will be very well cared for, vetted and placed appropriately.

Hi Barbie ... I mean Skipper! This cutie is full of herself, healed up and ready for her first grooming day on the 20th after long-haul rescue mission, open heart surgery and recovery! I asked earlier what she wanted for Christmas and a few said a hair cut - CHECK that in the box! Now what would she want most?
Skipper pupdate! Our little PWD poof had her wellness check up where we did initial imaging of her heart. She has a grade 4 heart murmur and what is called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). There is a vessel connected to her heart that didn't close after birth so we will need to surgically do in and suture that vessel off, or, go through the femoral artery to do what is called a transvascular occlusion. We will let the specialists decide which route they would prefer for the best outcome with the least risk. As long as surgery is 100% successful and she is stable under anesthesia (no reason not to believe all will be great), then she has the prognosis of a full, long, normal lifespan without further heart issues. These surgeries are quite expensive! This last month we have had VERY expensive cases coming in all within a week of each other. We are humbly begging for your financial support to help Skipper get the heart surgery she needs. At 3 months old she has her bursts of wild child, but then pants while sleeping already. Don't let the video fool you, this is very serious, but I do want you to get to know the spicy cutiepants she is! With her noted heart changes including enlargement, her lifespan & quality of life will significantly decrease over the next 6-9 months to come without this necessary surgery. So please, if you can, every dollar donated adds up and helps us save precious major medical cases like her! Skipper's goal is $6,000!! Let's do it!!
