This week has been a whirlwind with a work/continued education 3 days trip to Seattle, MRI on Wednesday... then yesterday was a FULL day of transport, checking on an elderly couple I worked 15 years with to get them down to no breeding, just pets and all spayed and vetted in the middle of nowheresville, kissing this baby goat and getting everything ordered for the new pups (one is here, others coming next week)... Highlight was all of it, but I will say watching this kid fall asleep in my hand melted m heart!!

Exciting news! I have been working behind the scenes of social media and Panda Paws Rescue is expecting new babies! Six in fact! I will share more soon, but I can say they are all "littles" & possibly one big Corso too! So many logistics from A-Z, but I love this!

Congratulations to Seal (now Lucille)!! Her mom drove all the way from Idaho to get her. And the woman on the right you may recognize from Panda Paws Rescue alumni owner of Mr Charlie (Mr Steal Yo Girl), Raleigh (aka Elliot) and Lily Rose. Seal is joining the most amazing spaniel family. When her new mom came in Seal ran right up to her and got in her lap and hugged her.

What’s new around here? We are tackling a huge undertaking to redo the backyard where our fosters and daycare doggies play & can freely come and go inside and out for safety. This is one day of work so far and we finally have a game plan that has been a work in progress for about two months. Safety FIRST! Panda Paws Rescue is NOT covering the cost of this, so no worries there. But Panda Paws Rescue animals will benefit and that’s most important!

I have been patiently holding off of telling the world that we sadly lost Panda Paws Rescue alumni and rock, Garnet, last Saturday. She passed peacefully in her momma Jade's arms, surrounded by love here at home. Garnet was everything to Jade, her BABY, her best friend, her therapy, her whole heart. She was the BEST girl, with literally zero negative I could even come up with... zero naught, all pure bliss and sugar. Garnet helped navigate Jade through MANY life experiences, changes, heart ache and happiness. She bonded deeply with my grand baby, *her* baby, Joanne. Our hearts are heavy, this has been two significant losses in the last 6 months within our core pack and things will never be the same. With that said, I am eternally grateful for her whole story, adopting her into our family and getting to experience her love and witness her bond with my baby through all these years. I will forever be grateful for Garnet within Panda Paws Rescue and every rescue's life she helped grow, raise, nurture, teach, & love. Rest pain-free & easy with your brothers and sisters.... until we meet again sweet girl, we LOVE you!

Sorry about all of the fake profiles trying to impersonate me or Panda Paws Rescue lately. It’s so obnoxious and pathetic, drives me insane. Just know that I only have ONE personal Facebook profile, this Facebook profile for panda paw rescue and one personal & one Panda Paws Rescue Instagram profile. I am the owner of other social media platform handles, but I do not use them for panda paws or myself personally. I only have them as a placeholder so others cannot try to impersonate me further.

If you happen to have a fake profile comment on one of your comments, please report them first and then block them, but if you block them first, then you cannot report them as fake profile, profiles, spam, harassment, etc.

Our foster boy has been such a blessing and pleasure to have for the last week! He’s HILARIOUS, the most aggressive snuggler, ooey gooey cuteness and the best hubba bubba bubblegum lips! I love, love, love him, and I am very jealous of whoever his forever family will be. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this boy! He is good with kids, babies, other dogs of all sizes, you name it! We got to foster him because we were having a winter storm and I was more than happy to pick him and his sister up 12 hours apart without the crappy road conditions being an issue. This hunk will soon be with Patty and Sayde at Rainbow Heart Rescue for his neuter, and I will leave it to them to announce more details about him as well as when they are accepting applications.  Our Golden Retriever, Willow, will surely miss him and she’ll be ready for another foster buddy!

I had this girl during the snow storm and she is amazing!!!!!!!!! Seriously the snuggliest, cutest, most adorable dorky girl! If Shiitake could be reincarnated, it would be Bizzy!

I love this collaboration transition teamwork with Rainbow Heart Rescue! …. I have her brother hanging out with me while we get to know them, spay/neuter them and find them their forever homes!

Flight transport 1 out of 4 compete, safe and sound! These four new kiddos are Rainbow Heart Rescue but because of our storm and geographic hiccups, I was more than happy to pick up their new kiddos at 1 AM and again tomorrow and then again and again always as needed. Be safe everyone, the snow started falling quite a bit in the last hour, there is a dust of ice below the fresh snow. Go slow, be safe, head to work earlier than normal.

Without further ado….. CONGRATULATIONS TO THESE TWO GENTLEMEN!! Brian has been very patiently awaiting the right match to join his home, hearts, and be his best friend. Initially, he thought he may want a female Shih Tzu of sorts… But it turns out his heart belongs to this redhead, sweetheart, English Toy Spaniel! (Same breed as Bullfrog, Groot & Shiitake) Brian is a retired veteran, he lives in beautiful sunny Florida and he has a tremendous amount of time to devote to his newest best friend! He was looking for a dog, of course, but he was very patiently looking for and waiting for the right one to cross his path. I love when a doctors keep their mind open when patiently searching for your next companion. I’m so excited for both of you boys, I’m so excited for the life you are about to give one another and thank you so much for your service!

I have heartbreaking news today… our sweet Lilac has moved on from this life during her sleep. She was doing so well, pink & plumping up so this comes as a shock to us all. She’s had fallen asleep warm, happy & passed way. Lilac a born into a litter of 8 & many passed way, sadly. We don’t know else could have been going on inside her tiny body, but we do know that she was failing to thrive when we got her at 8 days old with her cleft palate. She was a gorgeous, easy tube feeding neonate and we are all so sad. Please send her foster dads all of the love tonight. ❤️‍🩹🫶🏽❤️‍🩹
