We were today years old when we first saw a Mi-Ki! 😍🥰 Very rare breed!

“The Mi-Ki is a small, friendly, and affectionate breed of dog that is a cross between the Maltese, Japanese Chin, and Papillon breeds. They are known for their long, silky coat that comes in a variety of colors, including white, black, brown, and red. Mi-Kis are intelligent, playful, and social dogs that enjoy being around people and other pets. They are easy to train and make excellent companions for families, singles, and seniors. Mi-Kis are also known for their gentle and loving nature, making them great therapy dogs. They are relatively low maintenance in terms of grooming, but regular brushing is recommended to keep their coat looking its best.”

Just a friendly reminder that tonight, fireworks may light up the sky. 🌌 If you're taking your furry friend for a walk, please make sure their gear is snugly fitted to keep them comfortable and secure in case they get freaked out by the loud noises. 🐾

During bathroom breaks, it's essential to accompany your dog outside. Consider doing the last let outs a bit earlier to avoid any potential distress. 🌙

Remember, it's crucial to keep your dogs on a leash and not let them roam off-leash in unfenced areas. Safety first! ⛔️

Additionally, please be mindful of doorways when opening and shutting exit doors. A moment's distraction could lead to an accidental escape. Let's avoid any heartbreaking mishaps. ❤️

Help Us Help the Pets Affected by Hurricane Ian! Bark Life, along with State Representative Linda Chaney are having a Pet Food & Supply Drive now through Wednesday, October 5th, at Bark Life's Seminole Location. We will wrap up the drive Wednesday evening with a live meet & greet with Rep. Chaney between 5 and 7pm. You can help in two ways 1) Come in and bring or buy food and other pet supplies. Bark Life will discount all purchases for this event 20%. Or 2) Call or come in to purchase a gift card we can use to purchase food and supplies on your behalf. Then, on Thursday , October 6th, Bark Life will join Rep. Chaney and drive the supplies to SW Florida areas that need it most as recommended by emergency management personnel we are coordinating with for this effort. Let's do this, Bark Life Family! They really need us. 🐾 (no dog beds please)

We hope everyone and their pets on the beaches made it through Ian unscathed! Prayers for our neighbors to the south of us. May they and their fur babies be safe! 🥰🙏

We evacuated with our two cats to our relatives’ house with three cats and all is well so here’s a little cat humor for you. 😸
