🐴 @nutrenafeed is all we feed in our program. Their feed has never stopped impressing us with how well our horses do on it. Duke- looked absolutely incredible this year at the World Show.

😎 @formula707 products are all over in my barn. They customize formulas unique for each horse, and they’ve really helped keep my horses well rounded and feeling their best. I have called them several times to pick up their calming pellets as we pass through Denver on our way somewhere because they are my best tip for focused and calm horses under pressure. 🤠 Let’s talk about blankets and sheets-
- An easy way to measure : all you need is some good ol baling twine and a tape measure.
- A few little tips and tricks about blanketing and keeping it in place to not only keep your horse safe, but also keep your blanket from being ripped and destroyed easily.
My go to blankets that I love, especially in our cold 🥶 Utah temps are @weaverequine. They are durable and great quality and I’ve had great luck with them holding up and doing a great job protecting my horses.

We were really excited to get these custom Synergy saddle pads from Weaver. We had matching ones made for the 3 of us, with Oaks brand on them. They turned out beautiful, and we absolutely love them.
These pads are so great! I’ve never had a sore horse when I’ve used them, even on the long hard days. I love how they really pad and protect and also soak in any moisture that could cause chaffing and rubbing. The other bonus is they are very affordable and their quality exceeds a lot of the very expensive other pads I’ve tried. They are a win/win.

This special Thank You has been on our hearts for several weeks now. 💙 At Oaks benefit roping, our dear friend @rodwardbits and his niece Annie Wansgard had worked together to build this beautiful bit to auction off. We were so touched and appreciative and loved the kind gesture.

I have said it time and time again to anybody that asks. Having a horse that knows how to back out of a trailer is a must, even if it’s a stock trailer that they can easily turn around in. In my program every horse that comes will know how to back their way out of a trailer.
This is a way to train your horse to show them that life is harder outside of the trailer and easy inside, which can make the transport process much safer for everyone.
They learn to find their feet and step out of many different situations.
It teaches them to wait for you, having patience and respect in a trailer and they can’t run over you getting out.
We miss you more and more each day little man. You were always such a bright and energetic light in our lives. I hope you know just how much we love you.
The love, kindness and support that has been sent our way has been nothing shy of amazing. We can’t thank you all enough.

PART 1 & 2 Series: Today I just wanted to talk about how to hold your split reins. Some of you may not even know that there is a “proper” way to hold them, and maybe you don’t know why there is a right easy way. So let’s talk about that.
My personal favorite split reins, that are really affordable and feel great right as you take them out of the box, are @weaverequine ProTack line reins. I will link them in my stories for you to checkout. They are soft and don’t need any break-in time, and the ends are weighted so they stay where they need to and lay flat and nice.

A little at home practice for getting comfortable with moving your hand around while holding them properly, makes all the difference. Once you get used to it, it becomes something you do without even thinking about it. 👊🏻
