It's a big struggle right now. We had Shirley spayed on 12/8. Everything went perfectly. She was spayed, combo tested negative, and received her rabies vaccine.

She was great, listed her available for adoption , and then her abdomen started growing. We treated her for possible parasites, 1st. Then, the belly grew more. But, this isn't parasites. It's fluid. It's FIP, another mutation of the coronavirus, she came in with. It's such a small percentage of cats that the virus mutates into FIP ... But that percentage is growing rapidly across rescues. We're all drowning in it.

FIP is treatable, we've treated Romeo, Mable, Pearl, and others. It's complicated, long (84 days minimum of meds) , and expensive. What we didn't need was more FIP meds to buy. We have 2 surgeries coming up and now 2-3 FIP cases.

We really need help. We desperately need to purchase FIP meds. We can order them online, the prescription from the vet is still overpriced. We use a few brands, and if you would like to directly purchase and send to us, that's also great. Just message for info.

Today! All adoption fees are reduced to $100. (We pay $140 for sterilization, combo/rabies per cat/kitten) We desperately need homes for the holidays. Please stop in and consider adding "just 1 more" to your home. They deserve it, and you're rescuing a pet in need.

All in rescue are from extreme dire circumstances and without help, would have died. Our mission is to help the medical specific cases. Once healthy, medically complete, they're placed up for adoption. Please consider saving a life, so that we can continue helping others like them.

Unfortunately, we come across this mutation to the coronavirus, and it's a doozy. Treatment requires 84 + days of meds, and a 84 day observation period. This is our 5th case this year and it's expensive to treat.

We could use some assistance in purchasing the meds. We order them and they're shipped in, as the vet prescribed meds are 3-5x the price. Please consider helping Abby. She started treatment today. Luckily, she's still in foster and was caught super early.

Low-cost spay and neuter clinic spots are open as of today, for the month of December. It is first come, first serve. Appointments need to be paid for at the time of reservation. As always, we will continue to have two clinics per month throughout the next year.
