‼️RABBIT OWNERS‼️
Here’s some info to help get you started!!

Cage: This is the cage I strongly recommend. Your rabbits should be kept in an ALL wire cage to keep them clean. I use horse bedding pine pellets in my trays as they don’t make as big of a mess as shavings do.

Feed: We feed Heinold rabbit feed but have it shipped in. If you only have one rabbit there is no need to buy a 50 # bag of feed as by the time you get to the bottom it will go bad. Any complete rabbit feed is good. Your rabbit should be fed DAILY. Do not fill your feeder up. Your rabbit can possibly get too big and might be disqualified. (Especially Netherland Dwarfs)
Netherland Dwarfs 1/4 cup DAILY
Holland Lops 1/2 cup DAILY
Dutch 1/2 cup DAILY

Water: all of our rabbits have bowls but usually have no issue switching over to a bottle. Fresh water should be available to your bunny 24/7.

Don’t forget about the upcoming clinics and rabbit show. The chicken show was unfortunately canceled for this weekend.

Rabbits- If you have a rabbit to show please bring it and we will help you practice with it. If you need a project animal there will be some available. Tattoos and tattoo touch ups will be done on the clinic day!

Poultry- please DO NOT bring your birds. We will have a showmanship demonstration and answer questions. If you need help identifying your birds please bring a clear photo with you.

Our Entries for the 101st ARBA convention are in! Excited to see how they do! Thank you to the Millard Family for hauling and caring for my rabbits as I have a college biology exam I cannot miss! Good luck to all exhibitors and all the youth competing in contests!

Long trip down to the Dover show today but the results were worth it. This was my last time showing as a youth exhibitor… so onto open!
The Dutch won Best of Breed and Best Opposite of Breed in all 3 youth shows and 3 Best of Breeds in the open show ALL earning GC legs!
The Netherland Dwarfs did well too. My otter jr buck was Best Opposite of Group in one show and my fox sr doe was Best Opposite of Breed in one show, both picking up legs as well!

It breaks my heart every time someone contacts us to discuss rabbits and we hear another story of a breeder who took a non-refundable deposit or payment for a rabbit that was not showable. These people are not trying to improve the breed or the hobby. They are just money seeking liars.
To Add more… purebred and pedigreed doesn’t mean well bred or show quality
