If you are from the Newbern, TN area, you may remember her as the former co-owner of Lucky Dog Pet Grooming and the former owner of The Dog House both in Newbern.

Happy almost Fall everyone!!!! Fall break is coming up and I know everyone is excited for a break!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Happy Pawz is adding a requirement for your pet to be boarded. This shouldn't be anything major for anyone, it will just require proof along with proof of rabies, 6 in 1 and Bordetella. Happy Pawz is now going to require that your pet be on some form of flea prevention. Whether it be flea collars, pills or applied liquids. The proof for this should be in your vet records where you purchased these items. If you happen to purchase these from Chewy, the vets should have a record where they approved it. This is something to protect all visitors to Happy Pawz as well as staff. Let's make sure everyone is safe and flea free !!!!

If you are planning to bring your pet to Happy Pawz for boarding or grooming, they must be up to date on their rabies, 6 in 1 and Bordetella vaccines. You must ask for these at the vet. Do not assume if you ask for their shots that you will get all of these. Your pet cannot be boarded or groomed without these up to date vaccinations and proof that they have had them.

Due to the messy weather today, December 10, 2022, pictures with Santa have been postponed until next Saturday, December 17, 2022. Santa will be at Happy Pawz to take pictures with your fur babies. Donations will be accepted for Four Paws Rescue and Alliance based out of Humboldt, TN. Susan Drumwright who is a part of Four Paws Rescue has been very instrumental in saving dogs from the Gibson County Shelter and finding rescue for them in their journey to their furever homes.

Hopefully the weather will be better on December 17th!!! Looking forward to seeing you then!!
