We have some really amazing news and major changes happening! I have been training alongside my amazing, beautiful wife for the past year; she has been immensely helpful in training all the dogs and managing the day-to-day care.
I have decided to officially join forces with her, leading to a name change to Vitality Retrievers and our obedience program, Vitality K9 LLC.
Along with this, we are extremely excited to announce our relocation of the kennel to a prime location just 5 minutes away from our current spot.
This new location grants us access to over 800 acres of fantastic training grounds, featuring water elements and cover for dog training. With the assistance of my amazing father-in-law and brother-in-law, we will be able to build a premiere kennel facility.
We will work closely with an outstanding breeder, contributing to the growth of each other's businesses. We are super excited about this opportunity and the possibilities we have to grow. We are grateful for the love and support, and we strive to provide the best care and training possible for all your dogs!

Getting everyone to sit in a large group has become something I try really hard at. A few years ago I had 14 dogs out and one took off after a rabbit before the rest of them caught on I yelled sit and luckily 13 of the 14 sat long enough for me to catch up to the other dog to get him back. I think if I would have had to chase all 14 of them I would have been searching for a few of them for awhile!

Foundation is the key!

Every year I get asked if I will take a dog for a month "Just for force fetch". My awnser is always no because force fetch is much more than just delivering a bird to hand. You have to build a good foundation before going into force fetch. Everything I do in my obedience is preparing the dog to go through force fetch. Some dogs take a little more work to prepare them for it some go right into it no problem. Not to mention some dogs could take much longer than a month to force fetch. Foundation is everything!

2023 Hunt test season is a wrap its been one of the most challenging seasons yet with the really tough winter and getting a late start with most the dogs and water work.

Master
MH Weazy B went 1-1 to finish her master title!

Bunny got a pass and finished her master title!

Senior 20-29
SH Sable went 4-4 this makes her 100% on her Hunt test career with a 4-4 Jh record.

SH Gypsy went 5-6 to finish her senior title.

SH Rudder finished his senior title going 3-5 on the season!

JH Scout went 3-4 in senior and 4-4 in junior! 7-8 on the season!

JH Ajah bear went 3-4 in senior and 4-4 in junior! 7-8 on the season!

JH Rex went 1-1 in senior and 4-4 in juniors! 5-5 on the season!

Harley got a senior pass!

Karlee went 2-3 with champ!

Junior 19-25
JH Lillie went 4-4!

JH Layla went 4-5!

JH Ajah 4-4

JH Scout 4-4

JH Rex 4-4

Little Fern went 2-4!
