Scully Equestrian Services Dani Scully was educated at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. 20 years in the industry offers a variety of agricultural services focusing on the horse.

With a facility of 190 acres, with 2 barns with a total of 33 stalls available. our facilities include standard size arena, full size dressage arena and other ammenities, we have plenty of

room to physically work our horses and plenty of grass and turn out keep your equine partner in top shape mentally and physically.

What a chilly chilly day! The high was 44° at its highest while we rode. Didn't bother to get a group photo we got on the ponies and went.

Yesterday's ride at River Rise equestrian Campground was a little bit different as they were doing trail maintenance. Lots of trucks and trailers at the trailhead and monstrous equipment that of course we had to go up and touch! They had been recently doing a prescribed burn and were actively burning under brush and another part of the park that we did not come in contact with. Jagger was exceptionally quiet with no 4-year-old naughtiness. We worked on easy slow jog listening to the bit and dropping our head listening to the seat and transitions between the two gaits. Good ride but cold ride!

Apollo was started slowly but has been steadily exposed to real world stimulation. We have traveled many many miles over the years. Wide open spaces as well as deep forests. He has seen all kinds of wild life from deer to hogs turkey and armadillo. We have crossed bridges and water, streams and creeks. He has been ponied, and has comfortably ridden in all positions on the trail. We have even rode with dogs and had exposure to cattle. Apollo has matured nicely over the years and has found not only his feet but a desire to work.

Originally trained to work with the GREENEST of riders, we have now incorporated leg aids, seat cues, working on lateral movements, suppleness and coming down on the bit.

This past weekend one of my young riders hopped up and took Apollo for the second half of the ride. Both did exceptionally well.

Comes when called, first one to the gate, is always ready to go on his next adventure. He will even self load in the trailer if you drive out there with it!

This is Apollo. Hes been with us for 4 years. Coming in 9 days past gelding small and angular. I actually thought he was a Paso as he was so small. Had a good ride on Jagger yesterday at River Rise with the crew.

Amani rode Bailey for her last ride with us before going home. She's becoming quite the equestrian. Amani is the granddaughter of a friend of mine, Marie. Marie has fostered the love for horses with all of her children and grandchildren. Amani has taken an exceptional liking to the sport and I will support Armani's equine endeavors to the best of my ability for as long as I can.

The weather was good and Jagger behaved for the most part couple little fussy moments but that's not an unexpected with a youngster. I think we were all exhausted by Sunday!

Today was a wonderful day with fabulous friends and a big day for some little legs!

Early this morning we loaded the horse bus with Gin, Jubilee, Apollo, Wilson, penny, lacey, charm, pebbles, Shasta and Bailey.. the bus was full!

We met Karen at the trailhead and she rode with us as well. We had Peggy, donna, crystal, marie, Ora, Amani, Bri, shea, Kari and TT all rode along the trail at Ross prairie.

It was quite an extravaganza!! We took the yellow Trail and of course had to migrate to the red for some of the fun challenging ups and downs. We rode a total of 7.75 miles.

Pebbles did fantastically well and halfway through Amani and I swapped. She rode Apollo for a bit, and I rode Pebbles. TT even came to ride a spell with me at the end! It was an absolutely fantastic day!!!!

We made some good memories today! 🥰

Big day for Lil Pebbles. Seeing pebbles ponied like a PRO last ride, we figured we would add a rider to the mix. We started out with Amani being ponied by me and Lilly. One we got half way, we swapped and we hoisted Amani on Lilly and I rode pebbles the rest of the way around. Looks like Pebbles may shine up to be a GEM!

Yesterday we had a big big group of riders with ages from 12 to 80! Yes you read that right our oldest rider was 80! Her and Bailey made a fantastic team! I hope to still be as active if I have the luxury of reaching that young age! Maggie rode her horse Jagger who's been in training with me for the past couple of months and they did exceptionally well together. Jagger has developed as a Trail companion with much better confidence poise and respect. I believe having this much time to work with Jagger has made him much more confident reliable and trustworthy. All necessary qualities for 12-year-old Rider. With eight Riders previously Jagger was flighty unsure of himself nervous and reactive today he didn't bat an eye, he even minded his p's and q's when we rode beside him with Apollo.

Apollo himself has come a long way from a gangly young man to a sound Trail Mount it's taken a few years but he's finally got there! Will have a future post on Apollo.

Karen's horse Sinatra who I rode for a while is finally confident enough with his mom to lead through the water puddles. They have become quite a team and through diligent work and commitment Karen and Sinatra are now working together on the same page! Today was the first day she could get him to walk through the puddles in front of us.

Of course Paisley came along with us and enjoyed her Johnson the woods and her luxury mud bath oh dinner 100% natural environment LOL

Safe to say Pebbles enjoyed her chiropractic adjustment. I think this was her first adjustment ever, she was VERY hesitant of Sandra. Pebbles would not release, lick or chew. After her Bemer treatment, she finally allowed the relief to wash over her. Note, she had no treat or feed or anything to encourage her to lick this way! I have never seen relief this big! I'm glad she got a good release!

Apollo on the trail at Silver River with two guest riders. Today was a great day for a trail ride through the woods. Absolutely beautiful weather for today's ride!

Come along with us at the Landbridge Trail in Ocala. We had a great birthday ride with Ora and guest rider Sara on Bailey. Jagger was fantastic and chill the whole ride.

Come along with us at black prong in Morriston Florida. Apollo was my Mount today, Paisley tagged along on foot and we had guessed Rider Rhonda on Bailey.

Come along with us While we ride through Silver River Equestrian Trail in Silver Springs Florida. Training horse Jagger did extremely well on this ride out. Linda joined us today for a trail ride on penny. We saw a deer and some birds of prey and a wild Paisley and her natural habitat! 🤪

Today was a super big day for Jagger and his rider. 12-year-old Maggie and Jagger didn't have the best relationship previously and today was Maggie's first ride back on Jagger in a new chapter of his life. The ride went extremely well. Jagger didn't place a foot out of line and was a cool cucumber the whole ride! One small step for Jagger one giant step for this team! So many things to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving!
