Res-Q-Pets is a non-profit, 501 c3, all volunteer small dog and cat rescue. Please submit online

Res-Q-Pets is a non-profit animal rescue organization located in Mercer County, New Jersey. Our group is comprised entirely of volunteers who give their time and their own money to rescue and care for animals in need. We primarily rescue cats and small breed dogs but have also aided other homeless small animals at times.

Can you help with Layla?

One of our amazing fosters, Cheryl, recently rescued Layla.
Her owner surrendered her due to their financial situation and Layla had a broken femur.
Within 24hrs, our super hero Dr Patel, Woodbourne Vet Hospital, performed surgery and she is now recovering.

Our bill is over $1,400, so any amount you can donate would be helpful!

We are a nonprofit 501c3 and we don’t receive any outside funding besides donations and adoption fees.

Ginger is pending adoption!!! Still talking apps however until adoption is finalized.

Ginger, our happy wanderer, is ready for adoption again. Since she seemed to have found her way out of the yard she was in in a record period of time, we have opened up the adoption pool to leash walkers also. She definitely bonds to her caregivers, but I need to be sure she will never be outside without a leash during the bonding period. She is 6 yrs old, a fully vetted mini golden doodle retired breeder mom. Her temperament is phenomenal!

We have puppies… 5 are boys, 1 girl in the bunch. They are Peke, Pom, Chi mixes. 13 weeks old they are happy and sweet. They are great dogs for kids and will be good family pets.
* They are young, so soneone needs to be home most of the day.

They were surrendered by a breeder who had a family emergency
Both are sweet, delightful, playful kittens who would love a forever home. They do not have to be adopted together, but another playful kitty in the home is required. No large dogs , and only children 8 and up, since these kittens are not well socialized. They are vet checked, have shots/wormings to date, and will be altered prior to placement..

Please keep your personal safe.
Confine pets safely indoors - pets who are leashed or caged outdoors often manage to escape out of fear from the loud noises.
2 Leave the TV or radio on at normal volume to drown out the noise, and close doors and windows.
3 Offer their favourite toy or treat, or play with them to distract them.
4 Make sure your pet is wearing an ID tag at all times with up-to-date contact information, in case they get lost.
5 Have a clear and current photo of your dog or cat, just in case he or she manages to escape

SADIE going on her first leash walk. She wouldn’t budge at first, but curiosity got the best of her. She is a 5yo breeder mom we took in 2 weeks ago. Calm temperament, she wants to be alpha dog. She’s super sweet.

Update: Adopted! Here is Pup! He is a 6 month old Yorkie something mix… all 8 lbs of him, happy and loads of fun. Always anxious to please, he was an owner surrender from a hardship situation. He was loved and happy, and looking forward to that again.

Update: All have been adopted!!! We did not forget those who applied. The puppies are ALL getting over an intestinal infection. We will contact the matched applicants when they are well again.
