DS Sir Latcho’s Valor
… a 2020 GVHS Registered Gelding looking for his partner. He stands just 15’1” so a wonderful size for just about anyone. Has a solid foundation in natural horsemanship groundwork and is a well mannered, loving, gorgeous sweet guy looking for his perfect someone. He is easy to work with great for the vet, farrier and loves to be groomed all day long or take a big bath!

He has had 60 days undersaddle and is the same if you ride him every day or leave him in the pen for a couple weeks. He has taken quite a few trips away from home and is the same away from home. Not spooky very level headed and responds nicely off your leg. He is beginning to learn some lateral movements and will be going to some schooling shows this winter if he doesn’t find a new partner first. He isn’t herd bound - will work alone or in company. S Colorado.

DS Sir Latcho’s Valor
… or we call him “Elf” is a 2020 GVHS Registered Gelding looking for his partner. He stands just over 15’1” and likely will finish at 15’2” so a wonderful size for just about anyone. He has had a solid foundation in natural horsemanship groundwork and is a well mannered, loving, gorgeous sweet guy looking for his perfect someone. He is easy to work with great for the vet, farrier and loves to be groomed all day long or take a big bath!

Elf has had about 60 days undersaddle and is the same if you ride him every day or leave him in the pen for a couple weeks. He has taken quite a few trips away from home and is the same away from home. He is not spooky or jumpy, very level headed but still responds nicely off your leg. He is beginning to learn some lateral movements and will be going to some schooling shows this winter if he doesn’t find a home first. He isn’t herd bound - will work alone or in company.

Zorro could make your dressage, trail riding, eventing, fox hunting or just about any horse discipline dreams come true. 9yrs old comes from a predominantly western background but learning dressage and taking to it nicely.

How many people take time to really build a partnership with their horse .. not just under saddle but on the ground as well.

I feel lucky to get the opportunity to put a foundation on these horses from the ground up. The latest filly (3 yo qtr) came in mostly untouched, strong willed, very reactive/spooky but also aggressive - dominant and not in a big hurry to give up her perceived position in life. She hasn’t been easy, I had several sessions that left me thinking and rethinking .. what should I change or adjust to help her understand. The last week has been amazing everything just clicked for her (oh I’m sure we will have some more challenges as she is definitely opinions) but this girl is smart and once she understood the questions she now responds quickly and with the energy that I love.

I am so lucky to get to build and experience that partnership with these youngsters it makes the dust, dirt and hard work all worth it !

Beefy 3 1/2 quarter horse filly came in for training today .. she is a blank slate but this evening we had our first session and she showed that she is quick, fast, strong, but best of all .. smart. Bell will likely be a barrel or working ranch horse prospect.
