Introducing selected breeders from our litters.

Just an update on does and bucks we kept back for breeding. We chose 2 bucks out of all the litters to carry on Grayve Diggers lines. These boys are huge, have nice big ears to help keep them cool with the Texas heat, have Grayve Diggers awesome laid back personality, and not to mention beautiful colors. Names are Son-uva Digger and Monster Jam. They were bred and expecting first litters at the beginning of November. We also kept two daughters out of Grayve Digger. She is 4yrs old and want to keep her lines. Daughters Bun-uva Digger and Snow Digger. We will breed Bun soon, to Tony Stark.

Chocula and Gamora are both out of Nebula. Gouda is out of Cheddar. We will be waiting to breed Snow Digger, Gouda, and Gamora for a couple months. Still to young.

Just letting yall know I have a few bucks and does ranging from 3-4 months old that could help someone start their meat breeding. Nice full Tamuk's and Tamuk/NZ cross rabbits in different colors. They will be going to freezer camp within the next month. Several keepers but I can't fill up my cages. Have to save room for more grow outs. Here's a couple pics of one's available. I can get more pics. Troup,Tx

Here's some of our Tamuk grow outs. Keeping a few for breeders and sending others to new rabbitrys, or freezer camp. I posed a few of Grayve Diggers 10 week old bucks to show they may be Tamuk, which is a mix of different meat breeds, but still look good in a pose. Good ol' Texas made meat rabbits. Cheddar had 6 big healthy babies this morning... Gave her the smallest 2, out of Nebulas litter of 12. Will give them a better chance and 2 less mouths to feed for Nebula. So we have 18 more bunnies in just 2 days.

Nebula outdid herself with 12 live babies. 😳 She had a total of 13, but one didn't make it. Lotta babies. Cheddar is due too so we will see if she can take some off of Nebula, depending how many she has.

Some pics of the litters. Everyone has been moved away from their mom but Black Birtha and her litter of 7.

New photos of the 4 litters. Moving some of Birtha's babies around, to moms with smaller litters. Cheddar has adopted one of the blacks already, and has proved herself a good surrogate. So she will be taking a blue too and see if Nebula will take a blue as well.

Starbux successfully bred and had babies with all 4 does.

Birtha (black New Zealand) had herself 7 babies this morning. These are the only Tamuk/NZ crosses. They should be easy to tell apart from the "pure" Tamuk babies. Looks like 3 black, 3 blue, and I'm thinking the pink will probably be red eyed white or a color point.

Cheddar (chocolate harlequin Tamuk) has 3 big babies today. All look like they will be harlequin.
