Sarah and Roman have gone to our trainer today MLEPerformanceHorses! They have both gained a ton of weight and will continue extensive feeding on top of being introduced to her exercise program to bring their muscle back and help with the weight gain. They will also be getting their hooves and teeth done while there and than they will be ready to go to new homes! Keep an eye out for them! They are both very broke horses!😎

Prayers for old man Maverick, we have our first seasonal colic.
Colic soup and banamine have been given. Now walks and wait. Hopefully just mild. I'm thinking it is but I'll be up most of the night.. moms a worrier..
Edit to add, yes vet has been called. I'll update shortly.
UPDATE! ❤️ Old man is doing good, he's passed poo, farted a few times, his breathing has come back to normal range and gut sounds improving vet says he's looking good. Most likely a gas colic.

Woo, old man gave me a heart attack. Gotta love weird weather. But God bless he's doing good.

Today's event was a huge success!! Piper the unicorn was the star and our amazing volunteers and crew made it an amazing time for all!! We want to thank the crew at tractor supply in Henderson for always supporting our little rescue and helping to make this event even bigger this year! All photos shared from today were okd by the parents of these happy kiddos!!
What a blessed day!!

When you get home from your 8-5 to be greeted by the rescues yard mare Sarah. Such a sweet girl, she's allowed to roam until we get her feet feeling better. She's available for adoption soon to the right home. For now she's heeling from severe hoof neglect. No worries girl. We got you all taken care of!
