We've been super busy here this spring! Some of my fav regulars, a few kittens we've been bottle feeding and a couple babies I'll post separately, they're looking for their furever homes. (Peep that gorgeous white bully dog with the tan spots and black eyepatch! )

We've been working with local boarding facilities and community sponsors to help these babies live the best life that we can provide for them.

I prefer to mix my products by hand, there's something therapeutic about it and there's no hoses or machines to get moldy.

My friend giggled at me this morning for warming up the shampoos in warm water. (Can you tell I've warmed baby bottles before? 🤣)

I told her, "if you were the one getting the bath, you'd thank me!" 🤣😅🥰

EDIT! Theo has found his furever home! ❣️

This is Theo. He's my current foster pup and is looking for his furever family!

He came from a bad situation of neglect, malnourished and starved for love. This poor boy spent his puppyhood outside with owners in jail consistently, being kept alive by the kindness of an elderly neighbor...but now he's here and being well looked after and loved until his family picks him.

Thanks to Nicole Feller, Barbara Pfeffer, Donna, Brawley Animal Hospital and PAR. Sometimes it really does take a village to change one life and we couldn't have gotten him this far without the help of those who do a little more and a little extra simply to help a soul.

While he has been here at McDaniel Dog Training, he has undergone our temperment evaluation and is receiving daily behavior training to ensure he will be prepared and set up for success in his new home. His new family will have access to a package of complimentary group classes and 1 free in home lesson

Details to come on his progress but after the evaluation I can confidently say he will be a wonderful companion dog!

*ZERO aggressive behaviors so far.
* Crate Training and leash walking going very well!
* GREAT with other dogs (would do well in a home with doggie siblings) I've heard he did well with cats (I was told they napped curled up together) though I cannot confirm this myself yet.
*GOOD with older kids! No issues with my toddler nearby but he's a bit high energy right now so the only concern is happy tail as an accidental weapon or knocking her down, so he will have more training in this category.
* He is now up to date on vaccines and will be neutered before adoption!
*HIGH drive for pleasing his caretaker and being a good boy! He's really the perfect turn around dog! We think he's about 10 months - 1 year.

Nighttime training for your pups is a good idea to make sure they are comfortable focusing on you in dim light and uncomfortable surroundings, just in case. ☺️

New record for oldest dog I've groomed! Chanel is 20 years old and going strong! 😲

Miss Coco Chanel herself passed at the age of 87 gracefully and wisely. 🩷 I'd say that's a perfect name for this beautiful girl.
