It is Spring Break here in Iredell County!

If you are looking for something fun to do with your friends or kids during spring break, look no further! Zootastic is open all week except Tuesday!

On Wednesday, March 12th, ONLY, Iredell County Students and MGSD students (plus immediate family: mom, dad, siblings) will get a free wagon ride with the purchase of admission! Wagon rides are first come; first serve. We will be having 3 different times for the wagons: 11am, 1pm and 2pm.

Don't miss out on this opportunity as we usually do not offer wagon rides! This promotion is exclusively for ISS students and MGSD. You will need to show proof that you are a part of those school districts i.e. student email or student ID!

Meet Remus and Biscuit, our playful spotted hyenas who absolutely love their daily enrichment activities! 🦴

At the zoo, we believe in providing our animals with more than just food and shelter. That's why we offer a variety of enrichment activities every day to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. From puzzle feeders to scent trails and even new toys, each activity is carefully designed to mimic natural behaviors and encourage problem-solving.

Why is enrichment so important? 🤔 It helps our animals stay active, engaged, and happy! It also allows them to express their natural instincts, like hunting, exploring, and playing. For Remus and Biscuit, enrichment means more fun and less boredom — and a much healthier, happier lifestyle overall!

Every day is an adventure for our hyenas, and we’re thrilled to watch them thrive. 🌟

Looks like the weather is warming up just in time for the weekend! We will be open Saturday from 9am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm with the last admission being at 4pm for both days.

We wish everyone a fun-filled day playing in the snow! Please be cautious when commuting to and from places. Drive responsibly as all of the roads have not been cleared and are still icy.
