We just received information on this recall of Viva Raw pet foods due to salmonella and listeria contamination.

August 25, 2025 – Viva Raw LLC, Charlotte, NC is voluntarily recalling two lots of dog and cat foods due to contamination with Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes. The recall is for Lot 21495 (Viva Ground Beef for Dogs; Viva Beef & Turkey for Puppies) and Lot 21975 (Viva Ground Chicken for Dogs;

This sweet baby was found near Amity Hill and Umberger Road last night. An employee has found a foster until his owner is found. He was covered in fleas so we gave him a dose of Nexgard and we are vaccinating him for Rabies since his vaccination status is unknown. Please share to help him get back home!

Kittens galore! This litter is now available for adoption! Their mom was brought in by a Good Samaritan. She had a huge wound on her abdomen. Despite her pain and injury, she was still allowing these newly born babies to nurse. Dr. Novosad, with some assistance from the rest of our team, was able to make it a positive outcome for all. They will be available next week. A donation to our Angel Fund and positive veterinary reference is required!
