We're in the middle of tick season, making it important to take extra preventative measures against tickborne illnesses in your pets. ⚠

Keep your grass cut as short as possible, inspect for ticks thoroughly, and remove any attached ticks promptly, ideally with tweezers specially designated for tick removal.

And be aware of the signs of an infection so quick action can be taken!

In the summer, consider moving your walks to times when the sunlight isn't direct!

But if that's the only time you can, did you know that dogs can burn their paws on the pavement? 🐕

If you can't hold the back of your paw, er, hand on the pavement for 7 seconds, it's too hot for your dog.
