Board packages start at $500.00/horse/month.

About Creekside
Nestled on 20 acres next to Deer Creek, our Creekside pastures offer a quiet oasis surrounded by trees. With direct access to the Trails at Deer Creek Farms and plenty of amenities for riding pleasure, the Creekside pastures are perfect for the pleasure rider who enjoys arena activities as well as an adventure out on the trails. This area houses up to 8 horses on paddock board, to include pasture turn-out, and 2 horses on pasture board.
Amenities at the Creekside Pastures include:
•Horses are housed in Private 50×100′ paddocks with private loafing sheds.
•Options include daily turn-out on pasture or paddock only board without turn-out.
•Private tack/storage rooms attached to your horse’s loafing shed in the assigned paddock.
•150×250 foot clay riding arena with jumps, barrels, poles, cavaletti , etc. available for use.
•80×150 foot grass multipurpose area
•20×40 meter grass dressage arena
•20×60 meter grass dressage arena
•64 foot round pen
•Access to miles of trails on the •Trails at Deer Creek Farms (our 477-acre family farm)

•Concrete wash rack with shade

The sunset the other night over the Hillside pastures at our Deer Creek Equestrian Center was beautiful. We've had a lot of much-needed rain in the last few weeks.

The sunset last night was beautiful! Butterscotch watches as Odie and Zoey find something interesting to dig up.
I had no idea that a sunbeam would show up like that until I took the picture.

What a fun day at the CTDS mini dressage show!

What a day. So many firsts. So many smiles. So many positive experiences with all the horses and riders. So grateful for this show team that is developing! Never in a million years did I imagine God would provide such an amazing group of women so soon. Blessed is an understatement.

Kathryn’s mare Awlen went out with VERY minimal practice and put in a positive and confident test. She had a wonderful experience at the show and learned how to be calm and relaxed off property!!! We were all so impressed with her quiet demeanor. She did amazing - but for less than a week of prep this mare absolutely killed it.

The one and only Annabella owned by Annise at Deer Creek Equestrian Center kicked butt at her first show. The warm up was a bit overwhelming with so many horses coming into her bubble, but she took everything in and learned fast!! She put in two beautiful tests to jump start her dressage career. All that personality funneled into some serious power moving over her back and she’s gonna be a force to be reckoned with! First show, first time braided, and third off property ride today. I am beyond impressed with her.

Casidy and Bariz kicked BUTT at their first ever show together as a team. They had two very solid tests in the mid 60’s and placed first and second in their classes! It was Casidy’s 6th ride on Bariz. 🤯 They spent lots of time together bonding all day and I think Casidy is winning the “favorite mom” spot with all the carrots she provides him!!!

Nicole put in a VERY, VERY solid test on her new 5yo Victor. She was accurate, did what she needed to do to help her horse and keep him first in her priorities and it payed off. She placed FIRST in her division! I am so proud of these two. Way to go Nicole for being the leader your horse needed!!! I am SOOOOO PROUD of you!!! Not only is this horse new to Nicole - she has had him for less than a month!!!!

Last but not least, I want to thank Annise for everything she has done to make any of this possible. From praying with me before my rides, to running a top notch facility all about the horses care and wellbeing, to welcoming me and all these new team members with open arms and for being the soft landing spot for so many of us who needed you. We couldn’t have done any of this without you. ♥️♥️♥️

The weather has finally been good to us and we have finished painting the frame of our next custom shed. The roof and walls should go up this week, and the floor and door for the tack/storage room by the end of the week (or early next week depending on when the hardware arrives.)
This shed is in one of our 50x100' paddocks. It includes a very spacious private 5.5' x 12' tack/storage room attached to the 12x12' loafing shed.
We offer two levels of paddock board at Deer Creek Equestrian Center.
>Paddock with daily turn-out onto pasture, or
>Paddock only (without turn-out)

Here in Texas we've had a wild 9 days and counting! Unprecedented and prolonged sub-zero temps, power outages, water outages, sleet, snow, freezing rain, sleet, snow, and more freezing rain. We have had to improvise, make do, and get creative. Tonight will be another hard freeze, and then we will hopefully be out of the woods with daytime temps getting above freezing again. Thank you to all of our boarders who have stayed positive with us and laughed with us at all the craziness that has been the last few weeks as we fed, watered, changed blankets, broke ice, went looking for water to haul when there was no running water (thank God for the creek in the forest at the very back of the property that still had running water). I will post more pictures of our adventures soon. Right now we are still out making sure the horses have what they need. We come in for lunch, rest for a bit, then back out we go. We love what we do and we love the horses. We thank all of you for putting your trust in us to take care of your horses. Just a few more days, and we can begin the mud season. Until then. Stay safe everyone!
