Feeding your dog a whole food diet is not only going to prolong their life but can help with diseases etc.
I always recommend adding fresh food toppers to your dog’s bowl.
You can add any veggies you cut for yourself except from the onion or chive family. No chocolate. No raisins or grapes. You can also add lean protein such as quail eggs, chicken eggs, duck feet, fish, and sardines.
Fresh whole food is great to help with your dog’s coat and skin.
Get creative and try things one at a time and in small amounts.
What’s your dog’s favorite topper?
What are the benefits of adopting or fostering an older dog?
Typically you can find a dog that is crate-trained and housebroken. Their energy level will most likely be less than that of a puppy or younger dog. Older dogs need loving homes and typically are re-homed more often than young puppies.
Fostering or adopting a dog can provide a sense of purpose and responsibility. The
daily tasks involved in pet ownership, such as feeding, grooming, and veterinary care,
can provide a meaningful routine. This can lead to a longer and more fulfilling life for us!

Is your dog hyper-focused on cars?
The best thing to do is keep your dog moving and interrupt their thought process with a back and here motion.
I would love to help you with this!

Welcoming a new dog into your home requires love and patience.
Here are some tips to help your new dog feel safe and at home:
1️⃣ Establish a Routine: Just like us, dogs find comfort in routines. Set a consistent schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and bedtime. Predictability helps them feel secure.
2️⃣ Clear Communication: Dogs thrive in a clear direction. Provide positive reinforcement for good behavior and gently guide them to what you want them to do if you witness unwanted behavior. It’s all about creating a loving and structured environment.
3️⃣ Create Safe Spaces: Dogs appreciate having a cozy, quiet spot they can call their own. Set up a place or crate where they can retreat when they need a break.
4️⃣ Patience is Key: Every pup adjusts at their own pace. Be patient and understanding as they navigate their new surroundings. Building trust takes time and consistency.
5️⃣ Bond through Play: Spend quality time engaging in play and bonding activities. This strengthens your connection and helps your dog associate positive experiences with their new home.
By providing love, structure, and guidance, you’re creating a foundation for a happy and secure life together.

When clients send their dogs to me for training camp they are trained when they leave but the owner does need to keep it up! I teach you all of the drills and what you should be doing daily.
I still practice daily with my own dogs, from leash drills to going out in public for reactivity training.
