Put together the puppy pen last weekend. Pumpkin provided site security. She moved to a more elevated position on the couch but was then disappointed when she couldn't be inside with the pups. During the week they have settled in and started eating puppy kibble soaked in goats milk formula. They are getting real big and enjoying various shows on TV.

Still looking for their forever homes. There were 65 people on our litter notification list and am surprised they are not all already reserved. We are following through this weekend with the commercial postings, hopefully they will find loving homes soon.

Puppies are getting so big! They will be moving out to the pen this weekend. Attached are photos from last week as they start to poppy train.

We have tried to reach out to our litter notification list through our website but it doesn't look like our attempts at mass email are working, so not sure what the point of having a commercial site is if we can't communicate with all our inquiries at once.

The pups will be ready for their forever homes starting 9 May. We will try a few more times to notify our website distro, but if we don't have the pups reserved by the end of the weekend we will start posting them on the AKC Marketplace and Good dog.

Go Big and Go Home: Nala's third and final litter arrives on Pi Day!

There were some complications with their arrival, Nala was in labor but she wasn't dilated at all, so our thoughts of a natural delivery turned quickly into a c-section on the spot as ultrasound showed a couple puppies in distress. Our daughter Anya stepped up and help them get revived.

Nala and her babies got through it just fine. She delivered 4 large puppies, two were almost 2 lbs and the smallest was larger than all but one pup from her other two litters. Figures as they were born on Pi Day, so we gave them colors for different delicious pies.

Pumpkin and Penny are also excited, especially Pumpkin who wants to help her momma so bad. It makes us so sad to tell Pumpkin the best way she can help is to just stay out of the room.

I said we would be better about posting, but we have slacked off again. Honestly, we are still bitter about the fraudster making false profiles of my daughter and trying to scam people.

Let's catch up on events. Alex surprised us and came home for Thanksgiving. Nala and Pumpkin were so happy to see her. She and her sister then came home for Christmas from Iowa as well and we were so blessed to have them.

Penny was able to be back before they returned to Iowa. She had been bred in November. Nala finally came into season and we bred her for the last time at the same time we picked up Penny. Penny's two female puppies may still be available at Looking Glass English Mastiffs . Nala will be having an ultrasound this week to confirm an initial count for her final litter.

We will send out a litter announcement to our distribution list by next weekend. Thanks from Hooligan Mastiffs !

For anyone not already aware, there is a scammer on Facebook that has stolen our daughter's identity and is trying to scam anyone looking for mastiff puppies. I do not even know if they actually have mastiff puppies but if they do they are not from us. The scammer is using our daughters pictures when she was a minor in their fake profile to solicit interest for their scam.

We do not advertise or promote the litters available through our kennel anywhere on Facebook but this page. So please spread the word and if anyone has any idea how to actually get the scammer removed from Facebook please let us know. Facebook does not appear to care about solving this issue, they basically just say to block the person. This does nothing to protect our reputation and we are disgusted by this violation of our kennel and our breed.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Nala's first litter from 2022! I hope all are happy and healthy in their forever homes. Thank you to Maple's (Pink) family for sharing a birthday picture. We invite all to share if they can so we can see how they are progressing. Pumpkin (Orange) had some ice cream and steak. When last we weighed her she was around 170lbs, and as you can see in the picture she loves us and especially her momma, Nala.

We would appreciate anyone who hasn't already left a review for our page to please do so. These reviews transfer to our web page and help inform future mastiff families what to expect.

Heading into the weekend, the puppies were bathed and waiting for their new families to pick them up. We thank everyone for a smooth weekend and happy send offs including Sunny (Purple) heading home with her older sister Moon from last year's litter. Nala was sad when they were all gone, but we are giving her lots of love and reassuring her they have all gone to wonderful homes!
