Equine massage has so many benefits for each system this photo names a few.
Have you ever said “Today I overdid it!”
You may be thinking “what is she on about and how does this have anything to do with my horse?”
The days I say this make me think, we expect our horses to do what we ask, but they cannot tell us if they or we have ' Pushed to much'
They can't say ' Ouch that's going to break me', or even drop the weight they are carrying on their back to make it more comfortable or go home to take some inbroprofen and rest.
Asking a horse to do something should be gradual, just like when your building up weights in the gym. If we lift too much to fast, we break! This is the same for horses. We expect them to school, jump, hack weekly and daily.
Listen to the subtle signs your horse is giving you, if somethings out of character or they physically can't do something your asking , that's them saying ouch or I can't do this.
Horses are very willing animals by nature.
