I love visiting with Buddy even during a short walk. I always prioritize your pets well-being during the heat wave by closely monitoring them and adjusting walk lengths accordingly. We can still have fun inside playing games to mentally stimulate their minds.

This morning Finn went back to the preserve to keep cool in the water. Our walks are early enough to miss the dead of heat! If you can, walk your dog before the hotter times of the day. Always keep walks short and be aware of how your pup is handling the heat. Even if they are playing in water they can still suffer from heat exhaustion. Stay cool 😎

Meet Bella!
I had a wonderful time staying with her while mom and dad went away for a few days. She was timid at first but after the first day she was excited for our walks and started to show me her silly side! ❤️
What's really cool about Bella-
She's a Lagotto Romagnolo water dog and they are known for locating truffles but originally bred as a gun dog.

But that's just the bare minimum of what her breed was made for.
Bella is such a sweet girl that loves belly rubs and loves watching out the window. I really enjoyed my time bonding with Bella. She definitely made me work for her love and trust and I'm glad I won it.
