With frigid temps approaching, we want to make sure that you and your pets are staying safe!⛄️

Pets that are not properly acclimatized to a cold environment will probably be uncomfortable and can also suffer hypothermia from exposure to harsh conditions. Try to limit your pets time outside!

Indicaters that your pet may be cold and uncomfortable:
❄️ Shiver or tremble
❄️ Hold their feet up in the air
❄️ Whine
❄️ Hunch up
❄️ Tuck their tails
❄️ Show behavioral changes
❄️ Refuse to walk

Some signs of hypothermia in dogs include:
❄️ Weakness
❄️ Lethargy
❄️ Decrease in mental function
❄️ Loss of consciousness

Looking for ways to keep your pet warm? Again, try to limit their time outside. You can dress them in a blanket or sweater as well as booties before they go outside.

With each of our spacious rooms having indoor and outdoor space for your pup to roam, BIG yards for them to run and play, and our loving and caring staff - your pup will get a chance to relax and reset while you are away! We can even schedule a departure grooming session so they are clean and tidy upon pick up.
