If you’re a fan of expressive eyebrows, little Dorito-shaped ears, and eyes that sometimes seem to go in different directions—boy oh boy, Wendel is your guy! 🤩 Fun-sized and adventure-ready, he’s the perfect blend of compact and charismatic. While he can be a little shy at first, it won’t take long before he’s curled up in your lap like he’s known you forever. Wendel is all about making friends—he loves other dogs (whether they love him back or not) and is very enthusiastic about trying to play with cats (again… whether they’re on board or not). With his sweet nature and playful personality, Wendel would make a fantastic family dog or an awesome first-time pet. Come meet him and see if he’s your perfect match!

🐾 Seeking placement for 1🐾

👩‍🏫A little bit about the Partners for Pets Barn Cat Program:
📌Barn cats are fully vetted including spay/neuter, rabies vaccinations, & microchip!
📌Interested parties must agree to provide adequate shelter from the elements and food/water daily.
📌A proper acclimation period is required for all placements.
📌Cats in this program are typically not "friendly" however we've had many caretakers report back that over time the cats are very comfortable with their feeders. ❤️
📌We do not charge a fee for barn cat caretakers, but do require the above to provide the best outcome possible for our feline friends.

At Partners for Pets, we care for dozens of animals every day — cleaning kennels, lining crates, and making sure every furry friend has a safe, clean space while they wait for their forever homes. ♥️

Right now, we’re in urgent need of two simple but essential items:

📰Newspaper and Nitrile Gloves 🧤

These supplies may seem small, but they make a HUGE difference. Newspapers help us keep living areas clean and cozy, while gloves protect both our staff and animals during daily care and medical tasks.

If you have extra newspapers or nitrile gloves of any size at home or work, please consider donating!

🤖Robot was wondering if you're feeling okay? He figures something must be wrong since he's been available for adoption for a while and you haven't come to get him yet.

So what is it? Is he too cute for you? Maybe his stunning ears and sleek coat are intimidating? You might have heard about his perfect personality and how he's instantly friends with everyone...and that scares you? 🫣

🌭We’re Grilling for a Great Cause!🥤
Join us on Sunday, September 14th (11am to 4pm) for a BBQ for Rescue at Fresh Thyme Market 6569 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL!

Fresh Thyme will be serving up hotdogs, brats, chips, and soda/water for a donation. We will also have adoptable puppies and kittens, plus awesome raffle prizes all to benefit the shelter animals at Partners for Pets.
