My Sweet boy Saint

Sadly My sweet boy is in Renal Failure. At 12 1/2 the question that was laid before me ….was is it time to let him go. When I see this face . It tells me no. When I think of my older dogs and I have quite a few . I am trying to prepare myself .
It’s ok… I can do the subcutaneous fluids twice a day. I can prepare those special meals for him… it’s ok . When he needs a little help to get up..it’s ok. As he falls asleep, it brings me peace to stroke his head and his paws. This is a reminder to slow down, remember to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets together. Reminder to talk about the “Remember when’s” . With Saint but also the rest too. They may not understand the words , but I do and I know they feel the love. During the hardest times of my life. He was always there as were the others. Never waivering from being there to offer me love and make me smile. Kept me going.. putting one foot in front of the other. Knowing that I had those that counted on me to be there. I offer that dedication in return , with the gratitude that I can. This too will be a memory to last my lifetime.
As long as there is joy in his face , an appetite to enjoy the food and a desire for the company . He will let me know when it’s time .

Giving me a smile today and everyday is our 13 1/2 year old Tilt ❤️
Int Ch, Nat Ch, SHR Copperstills KevMar on Tilt RN, CGC, WC. Just 2 months younger than Oakley . Some girls have all the luck and only sprout a few grays.
This is Tilts designated reserved parking place for meal times. Twice a day like clock work Tilt parks it here in my kitchen and waits patiently for me to notice it’s that time. And just smiles ❤️❤️ While the others are trying to run me down 🤣

PRAISE GOD!! We just got pathology report at vet office. Pearl does NOT have cancer!!!!
Histopathology reveals an inflammatory, reactive, hyperplastic process of the omentum. No bacterial organisms. No fungal organisms seen , No evidence of neoplasias.

All of Pearls labs are normal! No excess fluid in her abdomen or her lungs. She’s back to her spunky self.! She survived this !! My heart kept telling me not to give up..

The vet was very convinced that it was cancer. So pleasantly surprised !! There is no explanation as to what happened. I believe it was in Gods hands and he heard our prayers. Thank you everyone who sent prayers . Goofy Pearl chilling out and watching my excitement!

A lot to post today !! . Kevin had a cardiac cath today after finding blocked arteries on CT. Lots of praying .. cardiologist said his blood supply is good to his heart and he would not stent or need surgery!!
Today is Boscoes 14th birthday !!! This pic was taken 10 years ago but both are sacked out and snoring !
And Pearl ( pic with Patriot) is doing really well! Still no pathology report. But she is running and eating and sitting up begging for cookies and hugs !
