🚨 ! Calling all area ! 🚨

We are looking for a skilled groomer (with occasional bathing responsibilities) to join our positive and encouraging team on a booth rental basis. You have the opportunity to make your own schedule (including your own time off) and work anywhere from 1-5 days per week during our normal operating hours of 8 AM - 5 PM seven days a week.

Surround yourself with fun, supportive coworkers in a “go with the flow” environment where you will never be expected to hit a dog or dollar quota - in fact, you can make your own schedule - so you are able to take all the time needed to make the pup (and pup parent) happy. Here at Mountain Peak Grooming, we never cut corners and uphold a well-rounded and holistic approach to grooming tailored to each individual dog’s needs.

The Dog Groomer can work a flexible schedule, anywhere from part-time to full-time hours, between our normal business operating hours of 8 AM - 5 PM seven days a week.

You may be a good fit for our booth rental opportunity if you have the following:

✅ Minimum of 2 years of dog grooming experience, including skills in bathing, nail trimming, and working with a wide variety of dog hair/fur types
✅ Experience with special needs and elderly dogs
✅ Willingness to employ a detail-oriented and individualized approach to every dog’s needs
✅ Capacity to work flexible hours and days
✅ A professional demeanor with every client
✅ Reliable transportation to and from the grooming shop

Rent: 50% of total daily earnings (plus any tips you earn!). You will not need to pay for soaps or shampoos.

Potential Earnings: Depending on speed and client load, our seasonal groomers can take home between $500-$700 per day.

! Mountain Peak Grooming in Truckee is seeking a Dog Bather to join our fun, supportive team! If you are skilled bather to who is able to work independently while upholding our high quality and standards of dog bathing, then this may be the opportunity for you!

None of our employees are expected to hit a dog or dollar quota - in fact, you can make your own schedule - so you are able to take all the time needed to make the pup (and pup parent) happy.

The Dog Bather can work flexible hours each week during our normal business operating hours of Monday through Sunday 8 AM - 5 PM.

REQUIREMENTS:

🐾 Minimum of 6 months of dog bathing experience. Skills in sanitary trimming, paw pad shaving, and dematting impacted undercoats are preferred. Nail trimming experience required.

🐾 Dedication to Mountain Peak Grooming’s standards of quality.

🐾 Willingness to employ a detail-oriented and individualized approach to every dog’s needs.

🐾 Capacity to work flexible hours and days.

🐾 Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with every client.

🐾 Commitment to staying punctual to ensure all dog appointments begin on time.

🐾 Have reliable transportation to and from the grooming shop (close proximity to Truckee, California is a bonus).

Rent: 50% of total daily earnings (You keep 100% of tips)

This is an opportunity to work independently while also being a dynamic and supportive member of the Mountain Peak Grooming team making $350-$450 or more a day depending of speed.
