Meet the dynamic duo of Spooky Baby and Critter!! These two girls were born in the rescue in 2024 just a few months apart but decided to bond to each other.

Spooky baby is a black rex with the most gorgeous fur! She enjoys sitting on top of boxes and playing under blankets like her siblings (Bebe, Crazy Baby, Penelope, and Bundtcake).

Critter is a lionhead mix and she is absolutely stunning with amazing hair! She is incredibly curious and very active.

Both girls are a little shy and will do best in a quieter house with a family that has the patience to allow the girls to adjust and warm up to new people. They are spayed, vaccinated, and litter trained.

Introducing Lady Penelope Whistledown!

Penelope was born at Avalon and is the sister of Crazy Baby, Bebe, and Bundtcake. She is a lady of distinction who likes the finer things in life. Lady P loves the life of luxury with soft blankets and cardboard castles. She gave birth to the Bridgerton babies last winter and they all continually entertain us with their antics.

Lady Penelope is spayed, vaccinated, and impeccably clean!

Today we are spotlighting three buns! Bambi and Bini and Sauerkraut!!

These three buns were rescued together when they were found on the side of I-205. The tiny babies survived but unfortunately their mom passed away.

Bini (female) and Sauerkraut (male) bonded to one another and are very sweet. This pair loves their furniture...whether it's a box, a doll bed, or a wooden castle. They are always sleeping or playing in something. They are curious and will do well with a family!

Bambi, female, is very sweet as well and absolutely loves her flop beds!! She's pretty chill and very clean.

All buns are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and litter trained. Help us find them a Home for the Holiday!!

We are desperately needing monetary donations to cover our costs for the month…

Dozens of vaccines, several spays and neuters, and several routine procedures and special procedures for the buns.

Not to mention our fixed costs for the buns of sanctuary rent, utilities etc.

Our costs are close to 5k every month for our army of buns 🐰

Today we are spotlighting Bebe Rexha!!

Bebe was born at Avalon when his momma Harriet was rescued. She had nine babies and a number of them are still with Avalon looking for their forever homes.

Bebe is a gorgeous rex bun and one of our favorite spotted buns! He is super sassy and has lots of energy just like his siblings. His favorite place to take naps is under his pizza box.

Bebe will make a wonderful bun for a family and we'd love to find him a Home for the Holidays!

Meet our Gracie girl!!

Gracie was brought to the rescue in January 2024when she was around 6 weeks old after being found as a stray in a neighborhood. She bonded with Avalon bunny Gossie and the pair moved through a few foster homes. In August 2025, it was discovered that their current foster home let them outside and Gossie went missing. Gracie was found severely malnourished and in horrible condition.

She has been nursed back to health but misses her partner Gossie. We would love to see her bonded to a new bun friend in a forever home. Gracie is spayed, vaccinated, and litter box trained. She is fun-loving and enjoys hiding in tunnels and cardboard boxes.

Can you give Gracie her forever home?!

Our pair of the day are Arthur and Luna!!!

Arthur was initially rescued by Avalon in 2020 when he was saved from being slaughtered. He was kept in a wire cage with his siblings and was only days away from being killed. The owner of the farm had a change of heart and instead gave him to Avalon. We gave the farmer 5 pear trees to help them switch from rabbit to fruit farming.

Arthur soon bonded to Luna the lop and went into a happy loving home. In July of 2025, the family needed to move out of the country and the pair found their way back to Avalon.

Arthur is a gorgeous red, mellow boy. Luna is super spicy and definitely the boss of the pair. Being at the rescue is stressing Luna out a lot and we would love to get them into a loving home soon!

Both are spayed/neutered, litter trained, and vaccinated

Say hello to our spicy girl Celeste!

Celeste was rescued along with her littermates at only a few weeks old in January 2024. They were found right before a horrible snow storm which most likely saved their lives.

Celeste is a sassy girl who would very much like a bunny friend. She wanted to be loved by her next door neighbor Edgar, but he chose another bun to bond with. She will make a great partner to another bun looking to be bonded. We also love her hilarious molt lines which make her appear to have frowny eyebrows!

She is so fast and athletic and will need lots of space to do zoomies and binkies! We love her spunky personality and know you will too!

Eileen Rose and Blackie Lawless are the next spotlight buns for Home for the Holidays!

Eileen (gray) was rescued after being dumped on the side of a road in Salem. She had 4 breaks in her back leg and was picked up by Rose City Rabbit Rescue. She was soon transferred to Avalon and placed in an enclosure next to Blackie Lawless.

Blackie was born at Avalon when his momma Wilma was rescued and already pregnant. Once this shy boy was weaned and placed into an enclosure next to Eileen, they wouldn't stop jumping into each others pens. These sweet babies bonded themselves!

While Blackie is shy, Eileen will seek out attention. She is constantly pushing her nose through her enclosure to see what everyone is doing at the rescue. This girl wants to know all the tea.

Both buns have been at Avalon since 2023 and are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and litter box trained. Who wants to give them a Home for the Holidays?!?

Ready to meet the next amazing pair looking for their forever home?!? Doe and Luna will melt your hearts with their quiet, calm energy!

These sisters and best friends have been at Avalon for 2.5 years. They were rescued after being abandoned outside when they were just a few weeks old. Luna (black) is the explorer of the pair and is very curious. Even though Doe (agouti) is more shy, she'll be hopping right behind her sister to check out all the action. These girls love their Costco empty boxes...especially when we put a soft bed on top so they have lounging options.

It's spay day!! Four girls are heading to the vet this morning to get spayed. Teens Jacote and Jujubee and Papaya and Marionberry.

Papaya and Marionberry are enjoying the quiet time away from their babies. They spent the evening having a mom's night out snacking and napping at their foster! Is having surgery the only way for a mom to get some rest?!?

We have so many spay and neuter appointments coming up with the 19 babies that were born at Avalon during the last 8 weeks. Can you help donate to these surgeries? Any amount helps!
