I have spent the last 4 years working with a cowhorse trainer, where I have started c**ts as well as given lessons in multiple disciplines.
I will be offering c**t starting as well as training barrel horses, rope horses and cowhorses.
What a difference just 90 days can make! This gelding was a super fun one I got to put some time on the head side! He went back to his owners this week a completely different horse from when he got here and I couldn’t be happier with how fast he progressed while he was here!

“Tex” is a 4 yr old grey gelding. He has a reining foundation, lopes around real pretty, stops really nice and can turn around too! I have spent the last month starting him in the breakaway and he is a great prospect for someone to go on with! He has been coming out of the box for 3 weeks and continues to progress everyday! We came up to Vegas for the Nevada Reined Cowhorse Show! Hal started us off with a strong 71 out of the herd today!

Flashback Friday!
Art of the Cowgirl was so much fun this year. Something super special to me this year was getting to ride this guy! I couldn’t thank Nancy Carlin enough for letting me use him. Cool little story behind it all. This was actually the first horse I ever started when I started working for Terrill! So it was really fun to get back on him for this event and I’m super excited I get to have him in my program the next couple months to make him a heel horse!! You’ll definitely be seeing more of Milo on my page throughout these next couple months!!

This little 3 yr old was just halter broke when she came to me last week and she’s already starting to come around and is taking huge steps in the right direction every time I work with her!
This c**t has the coolest demeanor! Third time being saddled yesterday and I was able to put the first ride on him! If you need a c**t started this winter give me a call! I have a couple openings at the moment!
Decided to go to a cowhorse show this weekend and had so much fun! We ended up 2nd yesterday and 1st today in the Limited Open Bridle! It was good to see what we need to work on to prepare for the Art of the Cowgirl in January!

Training horses is filled with so much self doubt. Horses like this help so much with that! 15 rides on this one and she feels so cool already!
The saying “look good, feel good” is so true when it comes to horses! My feed program is so important to me, good quality hay and feed is so important when asking these horses to perform for me the way they do on a daily basis!
