Yesterday, we celebrated Blackberry’s birthday! Happy Birthday Blackberry! This sweet boy has been at HSSA for a year, and his biggest birthday wish is to find his loving home. He had a fantastic day filled with love from his favorite staff and volunteers, a delicious pup cake, and fun enrichment activities!
Blackberry is a 3-year-old Shar-Pei/Labrador mix who has shown incredible resilience. After overcoming tick fever and a pinched nerve in his spine, he occasionally has a slight wobble in his walk—but thanks to HSSA’s expert care, he’s now healthy and ready for a home of his own! Blackberry is a mellow, affectionate pup who loves lounging in laps and soaking up attention. Some adorable pups made a special visit to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona Thrift Store on Tuesday!
